I think I need a HC (high capacity) for the HD, but is there a certain rating (no.5) or something I need?

Also, any makes to avoid or look for?

6’2 here and got large Swift. Great bikes. Got a niner fork on mine (because it came with the bike) and was going to put the original forks back on. I don’t think they look too bad and they are great, but may sell the niner forks as i’ve got the original swift forks too and wanted an original and more classic look.

t!ts its gone now. Reading was on that there list, with a link to the showcase cinema (although it didn’t go to any film details).

Obviously they’ve decided Reading is too sh!t (I agree).

thanks guys. the big car park doesn’t allow over nighters.
also want it to be in a pretty secure place as its a car/van and looks like it could have stuff in (which it won’t, so is even more annoying for everyone involved)!

Just spoken to the Red Lion pub in Avebury who’ve said it’s fine to leave it there (and a promise of 4 hungry people returning) – yeha.

great light and worth getting (got a couple – one on bars and one on helmet) but they are not 1200 lumen. They usually state 900, but that is still optomistic.

I like my tubeless tyres (on another bike) but I’d need new rims and they are a pain in the arse regarding changing tyres (as I need to do, living in the Chilterns and going elsewhere to ride quite a lot).

i’m no racer so not bothered by a little extra weight, but do hate punctures – especially now its starting to get all muddy.

I have a maxol one, but its a proper job with flue, tapped off the gas from the house (totally corgi registered of course….not).

remember bottled gas ones create condensation.

fan is cheaper in short term and not being used too often.

also use an electric tubular heater for the work shed, which is just set to come on when it is cold, to keep the frost out. plenty warm enough to work in.

    they are very nice.

sizing is small/slim. mine looks too tight to wear off the bike (so my wife says)

great write up and effort riding it all.

shame you did the descent on the road though – you missed a lovely roller coaster section of singletrack, but that mini deathbowl was great fun.

    an excellent day.

sorry not around, but i’m sure you’ll see some riders there to follow if no one comes forward from here.

not a great place to just rock up to, to try and find trails yourself to be honest.

got a gpx file somewhere if it helps.

it only comes with the stabiliser though doesn't it or do you also get a pot support part as well?

p.s. what colour did you get – thinking of the pimp'tastic gold myself.
