    thanks.

Ground effect one looks pretty good (and cheaper).

reminds me, my Lab-Gear merino gilet is getting worn out but its over £75 now (http://www.lab-gear.com/windproof-merino-vest) – can’t find any other options – anyone know of any?

3/4 tights with shorts (or trousers when freezing) for social rides

and just 3/4 tights on unsocial (solo, not stopping anywhere) rides

    I look hot in both set-ups 😉

heard the cdf isn’t too light (but that may be the parts, not the frame).

I’ve got a lemond poprad – it’s ace. not sure where you’d find one tho 🙂

thanks, haven’t seen it before either (and I’m on here quite a lot)!

may not get the result we all want, but worth a try (minute of time).

would you say the sustrans c2c is road rather than off road though?

my park one broke on the first frantic tubeless tyre seating pumping frenzy. Park tools website says pumps have 1yr warranty.

I like the look of the Lezyne ones and their mini pumps are nice and sturdy.

thanks. it’s sounding ok so far still.

thanks. I don’t really ride on (or like) the road so was thinking the tpt might be better.
just wondering if it is a good route or if the lack of hills might make it a bit boring.

ah, great, found it thanks (always forget to change the search from 1 month to anytime).

Anyone tried a daylight bulb in bedside lamp on a timer?
(the usually annoyingly slow warm up time to full brightness sounds perfect for a gradual wake up).

What wattage is the one to go for?

can read ok at 6, but would be slow and require help with that i’m guessing, but I actually bought that game for his granddad, so he can play with him (oh er).

    Thanks.

any other recommendations still appreciated… up to Christmas Eve, when I do all my shopping 😀

wohoo, thanks julian. Great pads and really wanted the same again.

no worries Android. Found it funny rather than insulting.

Should have said I hadn’t been able to find anything via google or even find if they existed still and they are/were a popular helmet on STW from what I gather, so thought someone might have got some.

No surprise really is it? Christmas post is always slow.
Not STW’s fault, everyone has the same problem.

    Chill 😉

p.s. still haven’t got mine either.

i’ve got an Etrex that I used for exactly that (and following routes). Simple, rugged and good battery life.

Got a SatMap now, so will be selling mine if you are interested – e-mail in profile. Just got to find the cable (to connect it to the pc) and bar mount 😕
