Mcalpine offset connector. 2 sizes of offset available at Screwfix for about a tenner. Rigid straight extension peices also available if you’re a few inches short
2singletrackmindFull MemberThe Geneva convention says alot of things.
Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a Cyrillic translation readily available.singletrackmindFull MemberThat cutlery drawer un organiser wants taking outside and burning.
Is it from IKEA,? because it shouts of form over function .singletrackmindFull MemberKnife , fork , spoon . Fine.
But there are obviously 2 sizes of spoons.
Large for shovelling cereal into ones month.
Small for yoghurt and removing tea bags from mugs .
So should it be knifes, fork , big spoon , little spoon.
Big spoon , knife , fork , little spoon .
Little spoon , knife , fork , big spoon?
Oh the dilemmasingletrackmindFull MemberNever underestimate the power of stupid people who can’t help themselves to do stupid things.
Trump is such a dick he would probably try to help the Russians boot out the uaf from Russia.singletrackmindFull MemberBosch . Non latching led lights. Slightly annoying and you only notice when you grab another brand which has the function and your working in a low light area
singletrackmindFull MemberThe Russians are using their air force to bomb Ukraine advance position within the Kursk pocket.
Be a superb initiation if an Aim 9 was to find it’s way up the exhaust pipes of those aircraft.
Use the F16 at supersonic speed to get in fast , fire and forget then rtb before any amraams can be launched by the ruskissingletrackmindFull MemberEdukator

Given the current 7p feed in tarif is lower than the 10p night tarif it’s best just to charge the car when your panels are producingWow. Some people actually drive to work and aren’t at home when the panels are producing. My very simple idea was to utilise PV production during the day , and use electricity overnight when most cars are parked up at home and there is supply supply
singletrackmindFull MemberIs there a simple system in place for those lucky people who own a roof and an electric vehicle.
You fit some panels and export all the energy to the grid from say 0600 till 2100. No battery at all .
Then from 2100 you get the electricity back for free. To pour into the car battery. If you need more than the panels have generated you pay a few pence per kWh as it’s off peak .
If you use less than the panels have generated to fill up the car you get a few pence per kWh credit from the energy co.
singletrackmindFull MemberThat will really annoy alot of russians . A German tank , crewed by Ukrainian soldiers , driving across the Kursk battlefield killing russian teenagers.
As is often quoted , . The dildo of retribution has indeed arrived unlubed.
Still , what goes around comes around.
Those soft skinned vehicles could have just been shot up with 5.56 rounds . They are tiny so you wouldn’t see holes in canvas .
Reminiscent of the road out of Kuwait city , lots of destroyed vehicles.3singletrackmindFull MemberFestool are the best , but you pay a premium for them.
Then Milwaukee , red power 18v . Compact, lightweight , powerful.
Then Makita , very good tools. But more expensive batteries than Milwaukee .
Then Bosch probably but smaller range and up there in the pricing.
DeWalt ok , but buy the better models.
Don’t overlook Ryobi for home DIY use. Huge range of tools at a sensible price .
Einhell making in roads to the UK market but I’ve no direct experience with them yetsingletrackmindFull MemberIs this some sort of game of chase, as in the ruskis tried to gain ground against an enemy with strength in numbers. The inevitable counter attack was so successful they kept on pushing into Russia?
Or a pre planned surprise push with a dedicated target in mind ?Or a punch on the nose for Putin, escalating the war and forcing Russia to move troops from offensive lines to cover the entire border with enough fire power to be effective against mechanised troops?
singletrackmindFull MemberCan’t the authorities triangulaate mobile phone data down to a pretty small area nowadays?
These dimlo people causing agro could be identified by their phone provider. Eg ,A big list of active phone phones in the area , cross reference with known offenders , people on benefits, plus a quick trawl of fb and insta would give you a list of likely offenders.
2singletrackmindFull MemberBe a good idea till someone comes up with the novel idea of burning books that dont fit their ideological take on life.
1singletrackmindFull MemberNo , it’s a like the video ai love child of an audition for the Walking dead and a 1980s Colgate sponsored school education video on toth decay
9singletrackmindFull MemberSo , to condense this down to a simple action / reaction statement.
A young man stabbed and killed some even younger children, for unknown reasons. . Because he wasn’t a WASP all the lazy , self entitled , thick , aggressive, chip on their shoulders morons now think it’s acceptable to show their true, full on racist traits by civil disturbance, , violence and aggressive behaviour towards the police or anyone who isn’t white.
Because their own life choices have not given them the life that they think they deserve, it must be someone else’s fault right? And that nice man on the telly says it’s all the hundreds of foreigners landing on our beaches and getting free TVs and hotels fault that they don’t have a nice car , and a nice house in a nice area . So let’s hurt people , destroy and burn property , steal things and generally be a knob as that will make it better?
1singletrackmindFull MemberI am sure to misquote this , but isn’t there some saying along the lines of ” all it takes for bad people to succeed , is the good people to do nothing”
I really hope it rains alot more than the forecast tomorrow morning , thus dissuading alot of people from attending.
singletrackmindFull MemberThey can all return to JD wetherspoons and shovel Stella down their necks
Many tales of heroic acts will be recited, how they stuck it to the man , and if there had only been a few more of them they would have won
And all of them will be claiming that they threw the brick of devine retribution1singletrackmindFull MemberHe does have blood on his hand from the headshot. So he must have been in alot of pain before the hole shot to the knackers.
Don’t know if I feel any sympathy though tbh.11singletrackmindFull MemberI was walking to the pub and I was hit in the shoulder by a brick , then another hit me on the back of my head.
As I stumbled around disoriented another brick came out of nowhere and smashed into my family jewels.
Never got to the pub1singletrackmindFull MemberI think it’s one of labour governments big targets.
The better paid minority benefits more than the lower paid workers in many ways . Tax breaks on pension contributions being one of those.
If you’re canny you can save 40% taxation , and then pay yourself back at 20% taxation in later years.
The lifting of the lifetime allowance helps a really small percentage of the population even more.
Although I do understand the reasons, it’s not hard nowadays with compound growth in unit linked investment to get to 7 figures if your funds performance is consistently good.singletrackmindFull MemberAdding old engine oil to creocote is supposed to bring it back to it’s original wood preservation properties.
Takes days to dry mind , so will transfer to your clothing.
Add in potential carcinogens so gloves and cheap disposable brushes ftw1singletrackmindFull MemberMotornirmivity or whatever it is way too complicated for most people to grasp. Car blindness , or car biased would be more accessible.
The hard of thinking woman who claimed that a number of cars killed Peds because of cyclists is astronomicaly stupid. It’s probably never happened. No mention of car and bike interfaces though.
It’s never going to improve though. Until cars can be re assigned as planet killers and people killers . And not heralded as status symbols , sport , essential items,
Shame really.singletrackmindFull MemberAccept cookies or pay to view without any Daily Mirror plus associated partners cookies on board . No thanks.
1singletrackmindFull MemberMy employer pays 14% if you volunteer to increase your contribution to 8% OR more.
So I pay 9% and they top me up with 14%
This , plus a few quid bunged into vanguard every month makes a huge amount over time . And yet very few people actually take advantage, same as the share option scheme which sells you discount shares on a sort of hp dealsingletrackmindFull MemberNext year .aged 55 I aim to reduce my working hours to 30hrs a week , average .
Then try to drop to 21 hours the year after.
Aim is to try to get used to living on a reduced income, then maintain that by slow draw down of my ppp, rental income plus a few investments maturing.
Last year I amalgamatied all my individual pensions into vanguard which I should have done years ago . The fund performance and charges for the bad investments has probably cost me £100k over the last 15 years.
I don’t want to be stuck at work in my 60s whilst I’m still able to cycle , ski , windsurf, sup , golf etc. when I’m unable to do those I think I will start fishing again.2singletrackmindFull MemberNah , I get it . All the pasta , noodles and food that comes in a plastic bag that self destructs when you try to just cut the corners off . Decant into tupperware pots with lids for product management and longevity.
singletrackmindFull MemberDouble mesh repairs done about 12 years ago.
Was out of action for 4 months as it took weeks to get pain free.
Jumped the wait by making myself available at short notice for cancellations so was done in a 6 weeks, not 6 months .
6 weeks off work, trouble shitting without suppositories. Quite alot of pain management drugs .
Took around a year to be able to really stress the area without twinges . Keyhole surgery for me.1singletrackmindFull MemberIsup in Lidl at £169 with a Lidl card, £199 normal price.
I own one,it’s perfectly usable and I have done many miles on minesingletrackmindFull MemberGo outdoors in scumhampton are closing for a refurb. So maybe pop over to see if you can grab a bargain whilst in the area ?
singletrackmindFull MemberOr remove it , spend 45 mins working on the gunk with petrol and a toothbrush. This will remove all the oily carbon deposits and extend the workin g life dramatically. Or do nothing , hope it will be ok , and it will fail when you need it most , in February , in the dark ,when it’s raining and you have to catch a plane. Because sometimes life likes to kick you in the nuts .
singletrackmindFull MemberMaybe he’s got internal motors in his legs?
The ultimate mechanical doping.
They don’t x-ray the riders , so whose going to know?singletrackmindFull MemberAll too slow and sedated.
The Spanish just moved the ball around twice as quick . It’s 2 touch football, control , pass . Use the width of the pitch and make your opponent run around like school football.
We however play advanced walking football, it’s 6 touch and then pass it to the player who was open after 10 seconds of pondering. This gives the opposition all the time to get into shape and man mark.
Nothing wrong with keeping possession, but you do need to be able to get the ball in to the corner with a decisive pass , and runners who can collect , control and deliver it back across the penalty spot.singletrackmindFull MemberAre these the same neighbours who enjoy smoking drugs at unsociable hours of the day and night?
Maybe buy a blue rotating light and mount it on the property boundary.
Every time you catch a whiff of herb , light up the rotating blue light.then play krs 1, it’s the sound of the police at a slightly annoying volumesingletrackmindFull MemberYes , but spring summer means open windows so humid air leaves the room as opposed to condensating on the cold walls. Usually above window reveals , top corners .
Always offer a compromise. Ie you will put the garden back to an acceptable state and better than it was at start of term if full refund is paid.
Plus , check those new fire doors are triple hinges and I think should have intumescent strips fitted as well .
Alot to go on
