Adding volume reducers won’t help it feeling less wollowy.

Add more air and then reduce the amount of volume spacers to get more travel.

**** me some of you guys still wanging on about this.

You sound more fanatical than the people you’re bitching about.

There’s shit loads of stuff that I’m not in to but I don’t think I’m better or try and attack folks because they think they have found an answer to lifes problems and try and share it.

    As a previous poster said.

You’re all into your standing up for other peoples wrights as long as they don’t knock on your door.

As Zamo said just say no. ;0)

Looks like someone has fallen of the waggon up there.?

Couple of easy days for us with a normal Friday ride but taking twice the time it usually does due to a bit of trail maintenance and sunny nature appreciating.

Then a really chilled ride that ended at the brewery for more beers than planned today.

Still another 2000 meters in the bank though so keeping things rolling.

Holly shit there’s some long winded crap on here.

A simple no I’m not interested is all it takes .

No one gets offended and everyone gets on with their lives.

    Yes to the above unfortunately.

Access only via the horseshoe ridge as far as I’m aware.

    Indeed^^^

That would also be frowned upon.

There’s also a lovely little valley you could walk down while sat on your bike here.

Whatever you do don’t ride down from here to Small Batch Camp Site.

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/mrky3kv4soaubZFG9

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/VX2w42TW8fjGZKiN7

That’d be very naughty and the camp site owners will moan at you if they catch you.

Unless you happen to be staying there then they don’t seem to mind.

It’s very tech in couple of places and walkers will moan at you if you see any.

Some might say worth it though. ;o)

If you’ve not been for ten years there’s some newish stuff in the woods behind the glider club that’s fun.

A few different runs all roughly in the same area that’s easy to find and pedal back up the fire road.

There’s also some very cheeky stuff that you might get away with mid week but not on a weekend…

What are these kids going to be riding when they are 12 of 13 years old?

Well my mates daughter who started on an Oset at 5 was riding a GasGas 125 trials bike and won the British Trials Championship as a teenager.

She’ll also be riding the ISDE in Spain in October as part of the British team.

It’s pretty cool representing your country at an international event.

I  also started at 5 down the local park but under petrol power as electricity hadn’t been invented when I was a lad.

I also went on to wear a Union Jack shirt at International races.

I’m much more responsible now though so moved to Scotland so I don’t have to break any rules when i’m out on my MTB.

Hoof them in the slats/bawbag. Then bum their dog with a frozen sausage.

    That’ll learn em.

Our car regularly switches it’s display into KM’s and also French.

    Maybe it’s homesick as it’s a Peugeot.

If that’s your idea of not broken I’d hate to see how bad it needs to be for you to say it is.

Or is the **** gert hole in it a very realistic sticker of a **** gert hole?

XC ride with Mrsstu to meet some friends for lunch.

Still turned into a 1000 meter 50 KM ride despite just going to the cafe.

I’d be sending that back to them and insisting they take another look.

Though after a couple of months it’s a bit late and they’ll probably just claim something has worn or been damaged in use.

Who did the work on it?

I may have a wander down and watch in Melrose.

Either that or ride up to Scotts View and see them there.

I’m happy to find fidlocks or podiums as I use both systems across various bikes. [Happy face smiley]

I’ve not lost one either in around three years of use.

I find loads of regular bottles* but I’ve only ever found one Fidlock.

*Camelback Podiums are the most popular.

I found an 800ml fidlock bottle a while back.

It’s contents suggested it had been in the trees for quite some time before it decided to roll onto the trail in front of me.[feeling slightly sick emoji]

Several trips through the dishwasher did nothing to make it usable due to the shape on the inside.

Left it a couple of days with some milton in and it was good to go.

It can still kinda happen on 1x systems.

As in the chain doesn’t release as soon as it should from a worn chainring. Just watch your chain on the bottom of the ring when it’s really muddy.

But generally it doesn’t cause problems like it used to.

I recon it’s down to a combo of better frame design due to not having to compromise to fit a front mech in/clutch mechs/ and single ring specific rings.

    Good luck OP.

Keep at it during the winter months no matter how hard it will seem to drag yourself out when it’s minging.

waiting until June to buy the Chisel, look for an interest free deal instead

Good advice. I’d be wanting to be feeling very familiar with the bike I was planning to do a large ride on.

Messages still not working for me.

    It’s been months now.

Stuck on the last message I sent.

    Can’t delete any messages.

Can’t send messages to anyone I’ve previously messaged.

I’m not alone in this issue.

Why can’t I delete messages or reply to anyone?

500mm reach on the S4 is shorter than my 2 previous bikes

Its shorter than the bike I’m looking at replacing too but due to the much higher stack felt **** huge.

     ride on the Druid V2.

I had a ride on two Druid V2’s today.

    An S3 and an S4.

I seem to be slightly in between sizes

    S4 felt huge.

S3 felt a little short but better than the S4

Rear end feels really nice though.

If you’re being seen at Russels Hall hospital you really need to keep pushing them for an op.

They **** me around for months and kept telling me to leave it another four weeks and it’ll start to heal on its own…

After four months the two ends of the bone were further away than they were when i broke it.

I had to kick up a real fuss and also asked for a referral to the hospital in Wolves before they agreed to operate on me.

Really messed me up not being able to use my arm for so long and took two years of physio the get it working properly again.

Best of luck mate hope you get it sorted quicker than I did.

I may have only ridden R&R and PF once but I really have no recollection of anything steep on them.

I can remember that after some of the stuff I’d read on here about how good PF was I was more than a little disappointed.

So much so that we’ve never bothered with any of the trails on Birnam again.

In terms of digging in or skin reactions to the stock (silicone?) strap?

A bit of both but mainly the big red button attacking the boney bit on my wrist.
