They will earn as much as the lowest paid riders in the pro tour road circuit i'd guess.

Not mega bucks. no point they won't create much of a return.

It can vary. most are the exact same but without the box

occasionally though you will get ones that are different. To meet a manufactures price point or their own spec.

I'm a very high cadence rider so 32:16-32:18 on a 26er and 33:19 or 33:20 on my 29er with an rotor ring to get even more spin*

    *think hamster on amphetamines

    What tensioner are you running?

    I'm on 32:18 on my 29er

Ring Keswick Mountian Bikes, I'm sure they'll help you. They'll also know the best place if you have bikes too.

No one is trying to dupe us,

Its just not matter what brand you put on a site like this and say you've had a problem with someone else will have to, There is not a single brand in the industry that has a 0% error rate.

How long have you had them for?

Every brand has issues with stitching, bad zips etc. If you where to avoid all brands with issues you'd have nothing to wear.

Its the aftersales service that makes a diference give them a ring and see what they offer.

Halo wheels are good value and come in loads of colours.

I've used freewheels on my mtb and road bike and not had any problems.

    Graingers,

I used superproof aerosol. It isn't heat activated so no chance of over heating the shorts and melting the seams, I've used it on a few jackets and shorts and its great.

If you saw someone walking down the street with a Santa Cruz T shirt on, but said shirt was emblazoned with a picture of, say, an Intense, wouldn't it strike you as a bit odd?

Not if it said "Santa Cruz and VPP American Bikes" 😆

I love loggin on, on sunday mornings and seeing whats gone on.

Why don't you go look and ride them and buy the one that rides the best instead of coming up with loads of crap.

I'm still yet to see the "nice tarty bike" but thats my opinion

I think alot of English will support Scottish independance. especially those on the dole who don't work becasue the foreigners took our jobs. More money for us rather than it going north.

I'm personally quite happy with Britain. Obviously a few little things i'd change but not alot.

This happened to me, Take it to your LBS, With cake in hand for haggling.

I tried a few things then took it to my LBS, The total cost Powdercoating and LBS was just short of sending the frame to Bob Jacksons, Where they prep and do a better job of finishing. Lesson learnt for me.

Yup you can, a few 4x riders use SS hubs (like hope trials) and 4/5 gears on the back, Gives you a stronger back wheel as its not dished.

Setting the limit screws would be fine, Pauls components make a bracket to fit road TT gear shifters and use them like thumb shifters. You could run these in friction mode and not worry about indexing.

Nowt, rather not waste my time.

I did think it was funny that he was invited to Buckingham palace because he was a politician and was turned away as he used it for political gain, Honestly what where they thinking would happen.

    Are you a fakenger?

Seriously though i do subscribe to st but do get board of it every now and then as i find they get very similar with similar stories month after month, i find this the same with most magazines mbr and mbuk so a change to something completly diferent does give a whole new look as you said above.

Read them for a few month and they will become plain and MTB mags will look better again.

The grass is always greener and so on.

Maybe he's Autistic or something similar. When I was in my teens a neighbour had their autistic son live with them in a granny flat an dhe knew everything that was going on, The only way he knew how to interact with people was by commenting on seeing what they do.

Its sad that we always asume someone is upto no good.

IMHO Just say your hello's and get on with your day.

I used an slx chainset on my major jake without any problems, It did feel wider than the FSA gossamer cx original that was on but i put that down to there being more angle on the slx arms than the FSA CX ones but could be wrong.

Can't comment on the gears as i ran it 1×9. I did run a pauls chain keeper which worked fine.

    Oh here we go..

Its just an opinion, I've never done one before, i did it and formed the conclusion that I don't see the point of an event like this.

I'm really not arsed about a "result" it just a nice thing to know.

I just think 80% of the people who do an event like this would like to know a result. (look at all the previous posts)

Feel free to have a great time at future events. I'll be off riding some single track with my mates instead.

I do have a watch its a big micky mouse one.

I went to this event and rode it with some mates and had a good time. If i wanted to race i would have gone somewhere else. I could have quiet easily knocked an hour or so off my time and maybe ended up 18th?? But i chose to have a laugh and chat to other riders, stop at the top of hills for a bite to eat and take some photos.

Events like this are a great idea and open up opportunities to people who just want to ride their bikes in a diferent format, Use feed stations, on a signed route with a target time in mind. Only a few actually post their result and they are all in the top 20 or so, I can't see this as 80% of the feild. Most are happy with a time.

For those who want a race their is the NPS Enduro series. See how quick you are their against real racers than people who where out for a laugh. Life would be s**t if every event was the same old race format.
