If it doesn’t you can get “p clips” to fit. Or a seatpost mounted rack.

    I used to have one.

it was better in better in terms of not getting mashed up by the cassette or SS cog.

    Sh!t Happens Mate.

There’s not a shop in the world that won’t upset someone someday.

Lesson to be learn’t: walk in, pick it up, buy it.

Get the smaller size (30.9) and use shims for next frame,

I think giants use 31.6 but could be wrong.

I’ll look into 29ers, though I was told at my local bike shop they’re just a fad and that much more bits’n’bobs are available for 26″.

I was told that about suspension some time ago.

    What was the shop?

    Looks like a prologo. Possibly a C-one

    why not,

All you need is a 26″ compatable turbo and a slick or ideally a turbo tyre and QR hub, (ideally a spare wheel)

Wouldn’t worry about pumping your rear shock up, turbos are there to get you fitter.

After the what car wouldn’t you drive thread, and the countless ones on here showing off £2k plus push bikes I’m amazed at how many people are slagging off the “rich upper class”.

Hiding behind the whole “tories are **** and are shafting us poor people”

We had a labour gov before and they shafted us all as good as anybody could.

The lines between labour/tories and upper/middle/working are all blurred now.

    Your house is tiny!

Nah looks normal size to me, its the Curtis 99er that makes it looks small.

🙁 Got two Citroen’s and a Land Rover.

Not had any problems with either of the citroen’s good mpg no faults. Really pleased with in fact, (C4 and a C3)

The defender is a project (shell) so can’t comment on that yet. 😆

I wouldn’t buy a Bmw or a merc down to cost. I wouldn’t mind one but would rather have a more cost effective car and pay the mortgage early.

lighter rims is a stupid idea for a pitch

    So you would buy heavier???

There are plenty of lighter rims than the stock ones, If the rider isn’t using his pitch for hardcore riding then even lighter would make sense regardless of the bikes intended use.

Campaigning can work, I was amazed that fox hunting was banned. If the campaigning doesn’t work?

It wasn’t banned, The method of killing the fox was “banned”

Also there is a difference between landowners land and a bridleways/footpath that crosses their land, Landowners have very little if any control of the PROW so its pointless campaigning to them.

£1150 is way to high for a 2nd hand bike that can be bought new for £1200.

Wheels will make the biggest difference to your bike, if you buy quality ones.

It would be better to have a campaign for cyclists to be able to use footpaths,

I can’t imagine a farmer signing up to a scheme that allows people to ride anywhere on their land. Its not practical.

Put yourself in their shoes would you let a dozen orange 5 owners come do skids in your garden.

In my eyes there’s 2 key points,

Tattoo: Didn’t want one, fair enough

Not turning up for prize giving: not good really, should at least stand on the podium.

ie. Not using a fixed sprocket and using a freewheel.

I can’t stand the whole nicheness of the SSWC – the enforced tattoos, the beards, the hilarious comedy costumes – but it’s their game; if you don’t want to be part of it, don’t enter. And don’t take it seriously.

Although I can see your point and sort of agree, I think there are two sides to SSWC as well as any event.

I don’t enter to win just to ride with a few of my mates (so no costumes or tat’s), but if you do win you should respect to competition you entered.
