If you have to ask if you need one you don’t you sort of want one.

I live just outside Thirsk, Lots of nice villages, schools etc.

Leeds is 35-45mins by road (a1) Train is about the same.

I can ride onto the moors from home, The dales are 20mins away and dalby is 30-40 mins away.

Road riding is very good also. Got the national champs here in June.

    To the Op’s question.

Most of my bikes are the triggers brush technique.

Or build up with a mix of 2nd hand or new over time.

No Debt for me on anything except mortgage. But have bought on CC before just don’t need to now.

Like a lot of things, it may be a placebo it might not, but if it makes you feel better then go for it.

Nope its one of the newer frames. The Seat stays where replaced and cable guides removed before re-spray.

Its not to dissimilar to the one from chain-reaction.

    Get out of your cave.

STW esp is a notorious Tory bashing ground.

I’ve met very few people in this industry that are “posh”

I have used electrical tape and its been fine but i guess it depends on how sharp the edges of your rim are/how thick you wrap it/tyre pressure.

Yep, hoping to do that Great Yorkshire Ride though did you get transport?

I think if there where figures I don’t think cycling would be near the top.

This would however mainly depend if they determine the difference between cycling for pleasure and cycling for transport.

The more people you sell too, the more errors you’ll make.

But CRC’s error rate in percentage could be less than it used to be.

80 miles is a lot for a mixed ability group. have you worked out what you guys can average?

I remember reading somewhere about rubbing candle wax onto the inside of the lense and then polishing it.

Can’t remember where but it was on some adidas glasses

Probally not as the stem part won’t have the right curve.

Not sure I can think of an investment that pays better interest than that.

Bubble wrap and never ride it?? 😆

You don’t “need” the tape, it just helps protect from scratches.

Am I being fussy?? Yes but its your bike do what you want.

A company that does it professionally?? its just thick sticky tape

I’d prob go with 30.9mm if it rides well. I certainly wouldn’t sacrifice ride quality for people who want a dropper post.

the ability to have SS and gears on the same frame would suit more people.

    44mm headtube.

Then nice colour scheme and metal headbadge and your sorted.

Not arsed where its made as long as they know what they are doing, (i’m not a welder racist)

I think £500-£600 is a fair price for all of the above.

I think £7 is fair enough for a day out, Wife would pay that to park in York to go shopping and spend more money.

I have a pass which works out good value. I don’t get why people moan about it, If you don’t want to pay go ride the miles of moorland you’ve wasted petrol driving past to get to the trail centre.

    Dead easy to do,

rohloff, pauls and shimano all make chain tensioners to run double/triple with a geared/singlespeed hub

Just ban the for sale if its that much of a problem.

Most of the time scammers are easy to spot. ie 5 threads all in for sale.

Waterlooville, Hampshire. Looking at moving to North Yorkshire later this year though.

Do it, plenty of good riding up here.

set-up your bar height to be best for when when it matters – ie. when you are not seated

9 times out of 10 sizing software works bang on. Although there always going to be variables, arm length, posture etc.

Most of the time people ignore it because they apparently know better and what’s comfortable.

Comfortable usually means what your used to rather than what fits properly.

If i was the OP i’d look at getting a bike fit session with a shop.
