Don’t think it should be in as a separate event though, only part of the combined 3day eventing (show jumping, cross country, dressage) and obviously on the same horse.

Do you mean same horse for the athlete on three events OR same horse for all?

They idea as someone put earlier of all on the same horse is daft.

I like the equestrian events, cross country and jumping mainly, often pop over to Bramham to watch it when its on.

    I don’t,

You’ve never ever jumped ared light? Have you ever ridden in a large town or city?

Yes plenty, I genuinely never have needed too.

I personally think both cyclists are motorists are equally to blame for the state of peoples attitudes towards the roads. Both sides need to make an effort to shape up on every ride/drive.

correct me if I’m wrong, but these bolts are redundant apart from ensuring the cranks are pushed onto the BB enough for the plastic clip to push down over the pinch bolts are they not? once the pinch bolts are done up the crank bolt is redundant.

Its the pinch bolts he’s after.

I’m using a couple of old stem bolts at the mo. Do you not have a man tin of bits??

I think this is a serious grey area, especially as the shop has closed down. The bike is effectively used and most suppliers would just wash their hands off it.

This seems like a good compromise:

I should add that in the original (and only, so far) email from the manufacturer, they straight up offered a crash-replacement deal.

Evans look into what is suitable for each store.

Look at online sales, store sales and requests.

IF it is a product that will work will in that postcode they will do their best to put it in that store. With limited store space and big online presence its the best way to run a business.

If more people start ordering and requesting 5:10 shoes in deansgate then’s there’s a good chance they will start stocking them. until then its unlikely.

A quick google can help for email, mine probably would bring up Facebook, twitter, I use the same username for Ebay and most places, a scammer usually uses a few site and it can be easy to find a paper trail.

If its too cheap or looks suspect it generally is,

I’m debating between the sempre and a madone,

I had a go on the sempre and infinito, infinito was more comfortable. But i’m after something a bit more “racey” and the sempre was a great ride.

It was the ultegra one I had a blast on.

    If you look at simply,

Brads emotions going wild all day, Gold medal and all,
He gets asked loads of questions then the guy killed is brought up.
Brad caught off guard mentions the first couple of things that come into his head that could improve cyclist safety.
Brad gets slammed by people who have spent loads of time researching something that has probably never crossed his mind and probably wouldn’t have.

The whole argument really only proves that until cyclists can get along with each other let alone motorists nothing will make their lives safely.

The CTC and other organisations could have used this to their advantage but instead choose to distance themselves to only man who has put British Cycling to the forefront of the worlds media.

The frame also makes a difference, you will find some QR frames are stiffer than through axle models. But generally they are stiffer.

All my mtb’s currently have a rear bolt on hub and are standard qr compatable, Hope SS hub etc.

i don’t think that he should have taken it upon himself to state that helmets should be compulsory. he is obviously in the limelight now, but does not represent 98% of the cycling public

would have been a crap interview if he had said “no comment” everytime he was asked his opinion.

I would probally ban 90% of the Headcam heros,

Yes some of them are genuine cyclists who are honest and good riders but the other 90% are car hating activists.

The amount of video’s i’ve seen on youtube where an accident could have been avoided but the cyclist is cocky or makes no effort to avoid the situation is amazing. These people are causing us as much problems as most drivers.

The sport will be much better off without Vino and others like him.
