Can’t see warranty being a problem. on a 5 month old frame unless it was second hand.

9 times out of 10, the people who get get bad service through warranty get it for a reason.

If you run a chris king you could use a “tall” crown race to help.

But also a 470mm fork is close to a 140mm trail fork and worth considering that way round depending on your 26″ frame.

My 26″ wheels are maxle lite I think 15mm maybe?

a 29er fork (470mmish a2c) in most cases is the better match for geometry when replacing a 150mm/long 26″ fork

I can probably convert them back to QR they are the on-one wheels that come with the c456 x9

+1. Assuming you’ve never raced CX before, have a go before you invest any cash in a specific bike, or even some forks. You might hate it – there’s a reason it’s called Pure Sweet Hell.

There are a lot of guys that turn up to CX events just on pure MTB’s even FS ones.

There is nothing more off putting to potential new users of a forum than long serving, seemingly constantly posting, users incessantly proffering forceful points of view and being argumentative. As this place is run to promote a magazine and encourage new users it seems fair enough that they pull the plug on those that make the place look unwelcoming.
