I’d not want to give lots of money to a classified only user I must say. I’d be far happier if it was a name I recognised from the forums. Yes it doesn’t preclude them from being a scammer, but there’s a higher likelihood they won’t be able to disappear – eg there’s at least 10 people on here who know me personally, I’d not want to screw anyone over.

Its not that I don’t like them, there are some good downs in there and a few techy bits its just hard to pick what bits to miss out without leaving you stranded. or long gravel road ups. Unless I suppose all that is past dixons hollow, but then you miss the black.

If i was going to miss anything out it would be the last few sections.

Start from the visitors centre and ride up, The black around dixons hollow is good fun, and there is still plenty of the old black sections/off piste round there to explore.

If you run out of time there is a road straight down the middle back to the visitors centre to the car park. Or take the blue route from Riggs and Dale.

There is loads of good riding in there,

The guys/girls in pace will be able to give you some good info.

I have found something better and I don’t really want to go back to what wasn’t as good. I wouldn’t rule it out but am much happier with big wheels for how they ride, where I ride them and how they look.

And stop banging on about what 29er’s where designed for, The whole 26″ came across by chance. Not all 29ers are uber light race bikes same as 26ers

If the bikes looks nice I personally wouldn’t rule it out, but 29″ works for me, the XL frames look normal. so why go backwards.

As far as I’m aware as a local to the North, We have been underwater for the last two weeks.

You have seen a stunning area with honestly good riding in the worst possible conditions. Just over a week ago nearly every road near there was affected by flooding. It is disappointing to travel to somewhere and it not to be as described but its the weather that has been an issue not the trails or the area.
