    I am the same
I also run at a high temp and need very little in cold weather
I think you will boil in any waterproof/breathable jacket
my advice would be to just get a good windproof pertex

I was having a conversation about this at Kielder and came to the conclusion that 100 miles in wet baggies would not be as comfy as 100 in miles wet lycra

The smoke wasnt that white, more white with a bluey tint, & it stunk of diesel fumes

Maybe one of the injectors has gone down as thats pretty common on those motors isn’t it ?

or just braking far too much.

This is true but unless you were in the leed bunch you were in a pack of about 100 plus for the first 20 miles, so its like your in a trafic jam on/off the brakes all the time

I used to bivi quite a lot about 15 years ago mostly in the Brecons (still have the same bivi bag ) then bought a cocoon hammock about 12 years ago and used that instead for a few good years much more comfy.
Just started getting back into it after a long lay off……can’t wait to do ..still get exited every time…. 😆

Your floor joist’s will rot if you have no air brick’s

look around out side Im sure you will have some air brick’s somewhere

    singlecrack

It would need to be something flexible as the floorboards have a lot of movement and most fillers with glue in will fall out over time.

or alternatively as deadlydarcy said ,or if you are lazy t&g an top of the existing boards at 90 deg
