When I’ve gone on MTB trips I always take the front wheels of anyway as there is more room for kit in between the bikes.

I have the mk1 15.5/21tt I did think it was a little short in the tt but now I’m used to it I’m glad I stuck with it.

For you I’d go for the 15.5 for sure , 21 or 22 tt
