    Quick Measure….
    Jabberwocky ( Green ) schwalbe Nobby Nic 29 x 2.25
Height to centre of BB 12.25″

    Verhauen 29+ ( Blue ) Bontrager Chupacabra 29 x 3.0
Height to centre of BB 12.75″

Both measurements taken unladen and set up rigid, I run the Jabberwocky at 23/25 psi and the Verhauen at 12/13.5 psi.

By comparison my partners Scale has a BB height of around 12.5″ with 100mm FS

5’10” and I have a medium fits me perfect.
This is my third Vassago, two Jabberwockii and a Verhauen.
If you set it up long and low I think you’ll be good.

I built up my Vassago Verhauen 29+ A couple of months ago and so far am loving it.
I had a Vassago Jabberwocky previously and really like the longer top tube. The new Jabberwocky is imminent, it might be worthwhile getting in touch with Tom or Charlie to check out your options

It would be a medium or a large subject to manufacturer, but the Mariachi was the last frame I owned so looking for something a little different.

Cheers Guys, I did look at the Ventana and the Niner EMD but my preference is to stick with a Steel frame. In terms of Aluminium there was a nice Soul Cycles Dillinger available but having ridden Aluminium HTs I prefer the feel of a steel frame.
The Swift is nice but iirc it has a 1-1/8″ only Headtube ( and it only comes in light blue 😉 ), I’d prefer to go with a 44mm or tapered head tube to give a little more flexibility in terms if forks.
Looking at Custom, it was taking me way over my budget….. 🙁

+1 for the Ritchey P29, having had the following 29er, On One Inbred, On One Scandal, Vassago Jabberwocky and Salsa El Mariachi, I have to say the P29 is the nicest 29er I’ve thrown a leg over,
I got mine from Alltricks and if you are a medium they currently have a really good price.

Ah Ok, didn’t see an option to choose the hardware, do they contact you to confirm the hardware?

Poah, where does it say mounting hardware is included on the TFTuned site?
Also how would you compare the CCDB inline to the Monarch Plus?

    Simpsan

Stock was available in Bike Discount on Wednesday for around and hour, however it was an hour when my 4G connection was refusing to connect,

Fr0sty, yes the CCDB Inline would be a consideration but again availability of stock and a price point of 330 Euro is a stumbling block 🙁

Got mine delivered a couple of months back. Went exactly the same route as yourself with a Canyon Spectral on order but twitchy over sizing, so I cancelled and ordered the Slide in a Large (20″).
Bike is fantastic, very happy with it and a bargain, bars are ridiculously wide at 800mm and I’ve cut mine down to 740mm.
I’m around 5’10” with a 33″ inseam and find the fit perfect fir me, it comes up very similar in reach to a large Heckler. The only minor worry for me was the reverb, as it’s a 150mm the reverb only sits about 3/4″ above the collar and the fact the large is really 19″(!) would mean a true 20″ would be too tall for me!

I’ve had both, an inbred set up as a single speed and an El Mariachi set up 1×9 and 2×10.
VFM wise you can’t fault the Inbred but my preference would be the El Mar purely for the swinging dropouts and 44mm head tube . Weight wise there is very little in it and the spend on a good set of wheels would be a good investment.
BUT overall my bike preference is my singlespeed Vassago Jabberwocky, longer top tube than both the above just feels right.
    Not helping am I 😀

Because Pixies are awesome and Eagulls sound a bit like Killing Joke ( and I’m going to see them in a coffee shop in a couple of months )

Currently 4 and that seems to be the point that I now struggle to justify any further

    Prorace Scylla Road bike
Vassago Jabberwocky Fully rigid Singlespeed (29er )
    Salsa El Mariachi HT 2 x 9 ( 29er )
    Santa Cruz Heckler FS

I would love to be able to justify a Canyon Nerve AL 9.9 29er FS and a 9 Zero 7 fat bike ( or a Carbon Beargrease 😀 ) but that’s probably two bikes too far.
All of them get decent mileage with the exception of the Heckler which is generally an extravagant ornament!

Really comfy and no need for lock ons…

I know one thing though. The Starship Sputnik will live forever, immortalised in cyberspace where it truly belongs….. And I’m really proud of that.

Googling Sigue Sigue Sputnik I noticed that there are two competing versions of the band!
Degvilles Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic and Tony James’ and Neal X Sigue Sigue Sputnik.
Now I like SSS Electronic and I also like SSS, but which one is better?
There’s only one way to find out…….FIGHT!!!!!

Around 92 kg but had Crests on the Scandal 29er at about 97kg.
I found them a little flexy. I use Arches and find the feel of these to be much better

I’ve been running 2×9 since Christmas after having. 1×9 setup fit the previous year on 29er HT
1×9 was a 32 up from and 11-34 at the rear but found that it lacked something on long flat sections.
Changed to a 2×9 with the same 11-34 out back and 38-26 up front. Feels great and has been used locally as well as Peaks, BORS and HOTS. Works well for me but that’s no guarantee that it’ll be right for you 😛

92kgs and I can feel Crests deflect, now get builds done with Arches and have no issues
