Thanks – I can ride it a bit faster but it is rocky in places and obviously I didn’t have the momentum as I was stopping and starting and running backwards and forwards for the camera.

Hi – certainly will. I am hoping to travel for a month or two beforehand but will be back here posting in September for sure.

I also like to visit megalithic sites, and there seem plenty of those to find looking a the Ordinance Survey maps and my Julian Cope book.

Most of my riding will be local, but it would be rude not to have one or two rides with the legendary Knottie and friends. The trails there look great.

Oh, and after taking the very lovely Mr and Mrs Agreeable out this Saturday, they in return will be taking me out to sample Bristol’s finest rooty routes too so there is that plus maybe an Afan trip too to look forward to.

Yeah – I was down in Dartington in January for the interview and so I have a little bit of a feel for the vibe of Totnes. I also bought a couple of Dartmoor maps so at least I can try and follow your ride reports and photos when you post up in the meantime.

Not at all. It’s not a 365 photos in 2009 group. Some people have started quite late and just doing 365 photos, from say 1st march – 28th feb.

I am not a photographer and am using it as a journal or diary so I can see how my life changes over the year.

There are however an amazing number of very talented photographers who daily post some brilliant photos, and I just love looking at their photos each day.

They have taught me how to try and compose photos, and try out some tricks, and even though I just have a cheap compact camera, and now trying to really think about some of the photos and try and take interesting and well composed pics.

So yeah, it’s a fab little group we have going there and hope you enjoy some of the pics.

I have yet another Gibraltarian bank holiday today and am just off biking. I could take my camera with me and do a singletrack mug shot to get us to the 1000.

Which top mind – black long sleeve or Scotland 2004 footie top? Thoughts?

Just cycling up a hill, then coming down again hopefully in one piece although on this route last time my tyre exploded when I attempted a drop off on the technical descent at Getares. But in those days JanetStreetPorter was in there to help me sort it all out : )

It could be anyone! (Apart from me as no one would believe I could ride fast enough to cause photographic blurr).

I am guiding Mr and Mrs Agreeable plus Roper on Saturday – Algeciras to Getares. That probably doesn’t help you much so if I was theoretically in the UK I would probably go to Dalby Forest if in England, Penmacho if I was in Wales, or Mabie Forest with Trekster if I was in Scotland.
