Well it was very nice thank you. Bit windy but it’s still sunny. Hangover gone but I now have indigestion after having a lasangne. We ended up at a different restaurant so I never got to have my Sunday roast which I was looking forward to.

Has anyone got any pics of the drop then? There has been a lot of new stuff since I moved from Leeds in 2007 I think.

Well folks I may not actually a choice about the situation. But I am quite lucky in that i can afford to buy good quality components so I will just try and get the shimano cable if possible.

Yeah – a lot of the videos just don’t show quite how steep those rocky sections are! At least you and your bike came back in one piece.

And yeah, my legs are a bit more wobbly than they should be after my gear cable went, leaving me with just 4th gear.

I am looking forward to riding Penmacho but no idea when I will be there.

Ah right , yeah, got it. I’ll just get brand new cable.

I’ll be back in Blighty by September so best get some fairly good quality cable 🙁

Yeah – I am hoping to learn a bit by being shown stuff when I get back to the UK.

I have a question though. There only seems to be one cable going from the levers to the gears themselves. If they replace all of that, does that include both an inner and an outer cable? Looking at the cable, I don’t see an inner or outer, just a long thing in black plastic (here’s the cable problem in this pic:)

Not just you mate although Spain I think was maybe one week ahead. We had our first sunny weekend last weekend, but it was still a bit chilly at the to of our climb. This weekend was 23 and sunny and the first warm ride of the year. Fantabulous.

You’re in the wrong country my friend. Come to Spain where both Roadies and MTBers love their colourful and full length lycra kits.

Second and third draws down mate. Hope this gives you some inspiration. I like to mix in with my footie kit too so maybe this chest of drawers is not niche enough for you?

I’ve got an idea. Why don’t I start a new thread and ask people to post photos of themselves? It may take off you know. You start.

We shaved off our colleague’s hair for charidee today. He got his girlfriend to buy some black hair dye for our muder mystery fancy dress party last weekend, but it turned out to be permanent dye, hence discussions in the office as to what to do. Well anyway, we raised £660 and our company are going to match it so not bad for a haircut huh?

We had colleagues in both Leeds and London on video conference to watch too.

Anyone know when it is for Gibraltar?

Me 29 her 22, me 35 her 23 were my only two “proper” relationships and where they moved in with me. And both were where we did actually talk about wanting children and marrying. Mind you they both only lasted around 6 months or so, but yeah, I was cut up big time.

However, I’ve pretty much given up on the whole shebang right now and leaving everything up to fate as whenever I try and actually do something it never really gets me anywhere.

Third time lucky I am hoping.
