Well some of us bought our bikes a few years ago, and we err, just go out and ride them! No need to get mixed up in all that bling and tecchie talk about sprockets and cogs and ratios and stuff.

I for one just use the single view, but do enjoy looking at people’s photos of their new bikes and where they ride : )

It can sometimes be all about the right kind of snow. Mabie, as has already been said, was just fabulous in the snow (and bright sunshine) last week and actually very fast! However, it had not iced over. Also, you may want to check road conditions too obviously.

I think it really depends if you are in the east or west to be honest.

I can assure you mine wasn’t. Simon Cowell and someone else (and me) were in a really dodgy pub, and they ordered a huge pizza. Then someone threatened violence, so Simon’s minders got him out, and the scene changed to inside his limo, where there were two back seats like a taxi, with six people inside. Don’t know who the others were.

The maddest bit was that this limo was really speeding through central London, and I really remember physically feeling butterflies in my stomach due to the acceleration. I have no idea what that dream meant, but I am sure I had another X Factor dream some weeks ago.

I’ve also been having other mad dreams, but nothing I can really write about here : )

Oh and as for the hat, in this instance it may represent your unconscious desire to be grander or set yourself apart from others!

Hi Roper – tricky one as my dream dictionary has neither N Dubz nor pop music.

But to dream of being in a group of musicians suggests that you being urged to interact socially a bit more. To dream of musicians suggests an urge to control your creativity.

The bus driver element may suggest either worries about how you will pay your way through life, or how you give authority in a group situation. Interesting that you hired the bus from a group, so maybe this is the latter scenario.

Typically shopping centre/mall dreams are all about choices and in your case the Christmas element may be about choices at this time of year. There is a lot of symbolism in shops, and it may represent desires or goals that you feel are unattainable right now. Apparently shopping centres are quite common in dreams nowadays, but as there are so many aspects to the symbol it is quite hard to analyse.

To dream of classical music if you are a fan of modern music suggests the need to listen to advice from your elders. maybe the specific tune has other symbolic aspects too – I do not know the story of it.

Just to make you feel better, I had a dream about Simon Cowell a few days ago, so you are far better off the N Dubz I feel.

    Hope this helps.

Well on Tuesday I went to see “Enter the Void” and I can honestly say that was a total melon-twisting groundbreaker in terms of cinematic experience. But back to Tron……..

I have some astroturf I could sell you? It’s all the rage apparently, according to the Guardian.

I think it is a bit unfair to astroturf – when ever I have played football on an astroturf pitch, say at “Goals” it hasn’t tried to pretend it is real grass.

I quite like that call abroad for 1p advert:

“So I’ll meet you at the conference in Paris.”

    “What? She’s getting MARRIED!!!!!”

I’ve seen better acting in the North Curry amateur dramatics society.

Sometimes I think it is a good idea to respect Mother Nature and realise that sometimes we do have limitations. I would say if it is not absolutely necessary then it seems a bit daft, but then I am not your family and I know how much pressure can be applied in these circumstances. I know my folks would rather I was safe and not risk it though.

Sounds good tonight with Stuart being discovered as a fraud and Sugar calling him a rude word of which we shall not speak of on STW.

I had a windmill for a garden that was a bloke chopping wood and the more wind the faster he chopped wood. There may have been a well involved too. Did anyone have one of those?

Tricky one but probably the Howgills killer loop with Ed as I have never done a killer loop before and amazingly enough, despite the terrain often being far more technical than my abilities, I made it round, albeit in well over 7 hours.

In the STW Awards, is there a category for ‘most tedious thread’?

This is not a tedious thread – it has the lot, including a happy ending for one and all! 😀 Apart from that bloke who does mint sauce who comes across as a bit of a berk but hey ho.

I can definitely say that my friend Lucy is by far the best singer I have ever heard. She may be my friend, but she just has the most amazing voice.

Thing is for my 40th, my Mum and Dad gave me a little silver ankh, very modest in price, but they commissioned it as they just could not find one to buy in a shop. Can’t have taken more than 2 or 3 weeks from them sending the silversmith some photos of ankhs that I liked. The OP was one year ago!

It all seems a bit sad really and he seems to have enough money in his life not to care about customers. It seems that he has enough of a following to develop a range of merchandise should he so wish, such as t shirts etc, but in the end it seems he doesn’t give a hoot. Oh well. So much for the credit crunch affecting everyone in equal proportion – his business must be doing really well to treat his customers and people this badly.

I too can also confirm that TEFL explicitly teach the present tense as grammatically correct as a style for newspaper headlines if this is of any help in reducing your ire?

Well I can’t suggest anything but I was unhappy in my first year at Uni, so dropped out and did some travelling before going back to another uni. And then I basically stumbled through my 20s, was unhappy in my early 30s, took a gap year which was good but didn’t get me to where I wanted to be in life, and then I ended up in the first job that would take me, and then again decided to do an MSc to help me decide what to do with my life, and at the age of 40 I feel I am finally getting my stuff together and things are finally going quite well. And you are more than half my age so chin up – hope things work out.

I think it is funny but it seemed as if he was an actor and this was recorded for some kind of comedy current affairs show? Just seemed a bit set up, but still very funny and bang on the money in terms of what he says.
