Certainly appears to be working.. didnt the figures actually show a 0% growth for last qtr once the effects of poor December weather on consumer spending was removed from the equation ? And actually showed strong growth in certain sectors such as manufacturing, others such as building were bound to contract following govt spending cuts on school building projects etc..Construction suffered a 3.3% decline, but industry grew by 0.9%

not that anyone really actually reads the figures.. easier to listen to sound bites on the news.

On NYE, sat in our front room at midnight, one appeared in our back garden, swirled around a bit with flames spewing out then crept over the fence, flew at 90 degrees into our tree and caught fire ! soon went out, part of its still sat there. Do they decompose pretty quickly ? just tissue and bamboo ?

When you looked out across sheffield on NYE there were hundreds flying sideways due to the high winds.. as it doesnt say on the packet only release in light winds !

All our staff accepted 10% cut 20 months ago, thats now ended and salaries back to norm…. and were all still employed 😉

we had almost same done couple months back, same boiler, 2 men 1 day + 1 1/2″ day. Included re-locating flu e.g. hole in wall £1600 but thats Up t’north.

Check to see if they can run condense pipe into a drain in the house rather than straight out the wall that way it wont freeze and stop your boiler working.
EDIT: O, ours included a £110 remote control stat / programer.

I used to put mine in the little cupboard with the boiler in it and then put the u lock around the gas pipe supply to the boiler.

I took my ST4 to Sherwood, did the same as above.. Good locks on it whilst out and about.. but as someone else said, hire bikes are OK, I took mine as I rode to sherwood pines each day…
There is also a nice bit of singletrack around the perimeter of Sherwoods Park.

Treat your bike the same way you would in any City / at home and you should be OK.. just don’t assume your safe as your at a holiday camp.

never to old to start. I’ve only been twice, once when I was 15 in Les Duex Alps… then again a couple of years back at 37 to Banff…. FANTASTIC.. wish I could do it every year. Bit like MTBing but without the constraints of trails

Customer of mine got marched off site recently… turned out he was selling metal to scrap man and keeping the proceeds..

Its amazing what machinery was deemed as “scrap”.. but the plant was nice and tidy.
