fantastic bike.. its certainly going to ride well, be easy to maintain and will be LOADS of them around. Perfect for UK DH ?

I have Ardent LUST too but when its wet, I really don’t get on with it, and prefer the Minion.

The high roller is more of a erm agresive riders tyre in that you have to lean it right over from middle to edge to get grip again where I find the minion is more rounded and grips at any angle.

Had a fantastic ride out there chaps. Rode, Peel – Railway line – up some byways past some mines (!) to South Barule, did a lap of the red trail – battled around some boggy singletrack around the plantation to “Round Table” – Cracking rocky byway down to Lhargan plantation – up the road to Garey then down a cracking descent to Sleauwhallian then back on railway line.

One of the best rides I’ve ever done to be honest, cracking views, very quite, great singletrack and byway descents, reminded me of the Lakes… you chaps do well to keep it so quite !

wish I had chance to do more, that bridleway that ends above Glenvine looked cracking.

Got to work, the frame is here. I’m returning it today.. not that I care now but its even the wrong colour to the one I ordered 🙂 !!!!

so, I canceled my order over a week back, then I’ve been on holiday for a week, on Friday I got a email saying my frame was out for delivery… FFS.. I’ve canceled it.. and ordered a different frame.. even if its sat on my office floor on Monday morning when I go back to work its being sent back.

Route I think I’m going to do is Peel to the South Barrule plantation following the byways / bridleways via old railway line and Glen Maye.

May also try the one around Glenmooar..

I understand your business problems, run one myself, and nope there is no manual ! And it sounds like your struggling with the same my business does, “Normal” things are very straight foreward, its the snags and there recovery that’s tough to attack.

Hopefully if the frames arrive this week (didn’t today) I’ll pop in to collect from the warehouse or wherever it lands.

I guess there getting a big company now and 95% purchases all go well, have ordered in the past and been great.

Im Just miffed I was promised a frame, and a date for delivery and then they took it to the WC instead..

Called them… another Friday goes by with no bike shipment 🙁 Monday is next ETA.

If you have the FSA CF40 headset you can get the 1 1/8 crown to suit (solant had them in last week, I have the code if required)

Bugger, the guy I spoke to at onone said it would not work, he did though advise me to buy an Acros one from elsewhere, cost £25 more..

Thats all bollocks, there is NOWT going on at Wharncliffe officially or by the FE – They kicked ideas around about having a meeting to decide to have a meeting about the future but nothing came of it. There is tons of great new “un-sanctioned” building though 😉

Don’t forget the great things Ride Sheffield are doing with SCC, Parkwood springs, lady cannings etc. We ARE being represented in Sheffield now.

I’m selling one, small frame, ridden 4 times.

mmm, I have same isssue (stumpy fingers !!) Only thing I could think of was after market levers. ( Mine have carbon levers so can’t bend).

Think its the only solution.. unless something could be done to make the threaded rod that goes into the piston longer (Or is it shorter in which case it wont work)

anyone know if you can use the FSA ORbit from onone, then buy a different crown race to use 1 1/8″ forks ?

SO how do you convert the Headset that onone are selling, FSA ORbit to work with a 1 1/8″ fork (Not tapered) ? Can you get a different crown race ?

Finally.. if you go for him, through the vultures who are praying on this kind of case following recesion, are you sure the director has the means to pay ? are all his assets in wifes name ? is he worth anything ?

In the end, you may have a long legal battle, get yourself all wound up, spend a lot chasing it.. and end up being paid £1 a week for 385 years.

isnt the internal routing down a tube ? if so, that tube would stop anything dropping on tubes internally.
