Crikey… there is one thing I have found… Venture feature highly in opinions across the internet.

Will (try) to walk in and walk out with just the frebie and then go do a good shoot with an independent photographer.
Thanks for all the feedback, just wish I’d helped the Mrs choose the present in the run up to Xmas.

The difference is the angle the picture was taken from? They are different uppers so the new ones by definition are different to the old ones…

What year do you have Northwind ?
Im just trying to work out if they are 2012 uppers or older ??? also, i’ve had mine reduced to 160mm, with the option of going back to 170mm uppers but if there very old uppers, they wouldnt go back to 170mm if I wanted.
So, basically, the question is, are they the same as current 170mm uppers for Lyrik Solo airs ? my originals had two scales on for 160mm setting and 170mm setting, these dont.

The council dont grit or plough Rushup Edge, Mam Nick or Winnats as a priority. Makes driving a little hairy.

Except they were up there at 4pm gritting as I was driving home, that said.. it had turned to ice, there was a que of 30 cars at the top of winnats not going down it… so I turned around and headed to Sparowpit / Brough to get back to Sheffield from Furness.
    All fun.
Its been strange this week.. a bit of snow around Ladybower / Winhill etc.. but then the top of mamtor / rushups really got hit hard. Tuesday it was raning in Castleton.. then head up Winnats and by the top there was 2″ on the ground.

only other point I can think of, There is no down tube protector like on the Nomad C.. So worth getting either Helitape or simular protection on it.. if you ride rockier places.

Im hoping these french guys do one soon,

I put this on mine from Lizard Skins.

had it since August. I think at 130 it will climb a little better, not that it isnt good at 140. I run Revs lowered from 150 to 140, ride mostly around the Peak.. so 140 makes sense on some of the rockier bits.

    Where do you ride ?

Certainly a TRc, I have one the same. I run mine with a 140 fork and a shorter Stem (50mm)… lots of fun.
