ok. sounds good. around the same weight as bfe. £200 more justification, um no. i get a 16" 456 in a few weeks and a 80mm stem. good headset for under £60, looking at cane creek s3?
looking kind of under £400. was told bfe is not that good for all day riding going from a full suss mongoose otero back to hard-tail and not aluminium.
i looked at the soul, looks a bit sketchy. but i the bfe would better. just for the security and i know it can take it. i dont do jumps or hard drops. and i used to have a kona chute. i do mainly ashton court, maybe over afan, cwn carn.
i have used two seatposts the use sx and the cane creek thudbuster. The thudbuster was good but its weird and there is alot of movement (depends on elastomers). the use is good though and you get about 2" travel and easy to service. The thudbuster is about £120 ish and the use is about £60-£70.
should come to bristol. the first to be a cycle city and it still sucks here. people getting in your way, drivers road hogging and people walking out in front of you. some approach has been – i didnt see you. am i invisible or should i fly next time…
