Replaced my 661 Recon with an Urge All Mountain, much better fit for me and not too bad heat wise even on the warmest days. CRC have a sales on: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/urge/helmets/mtb-helmets

Been looking at this myself recently, top 3 for me from various reviews were Fox Antifreeze, Scott Minus and Royal Racing Minus.
Gone for the Royal Racing but may get the Fox as well if any good deals come along.

Really pleased with mine, much better fit for me than my 661 Recon, Exposure Joystick fits no problem with the right mount.

Received my Luminator today from Smudge @ mtb batteries and had a ride tonight to give it a go and it really is very impressive, a few pics –
Fitted using a Hope universal mount kit:

    Setting 1:

    Setting 2:

    Setting 3:

    Setting 4:

Going to secure the battery and cables better and probably get a KCNC bar adaptor to raise the light a bit over the cables.
As has been said many times before it appears an excellent product with UK backup (if required).

    I use https://www.ineedwebhosting.co.uk/.
for mine, typically .co.uk domains to buy are £7.50 for 1-2 years, the hosting is all maintained by my web developer.
You can just buy the name using the above and leave it until you sort hosting out.

As honourablegeorge has said, the finish doesn’t last too long, i’ve got the Saints and as you can see after a few hundred miles the black starts to wear off:
I’m also running a 34T Renthal ring up front.

I changed recently as Zurich wouldn’t cover my bikes for more tham £400 each, i moved to Hiscox Insurance who have £2500 as standard in or out of the home per bike.

Got mine a couple of months ago to replace my ageing Jekyll 1000 and absolutely love it, as others have said climb really and descend even better, running 1×10 with a 34 tooth and it’s working well for me around the cotswold hills.

I was after similar to you, around 10L, also i’m not bothered about hydration packs.
After looking at a few options i bought an Osprey Syncro 10.
It can take a hydration pack but it’s an extra so i use the space for other items, all Osprey bike packs have a helme holder which is very useful.

I’ ve got the Sombrio X-Floats and recentley got Vans Gravel aswell, the Sombrios are good with a really grippy sole but are a bit “loud” i much prefer the Vans, look just like regular skate type shoes but with an enhanced sole that offers plenty of grip.

Got to thank this thread and fuzzhead for recommending Hiscox Insurance, my current insurer Zurich have a maximum of £400 per bike and wouldn’t budge on covering my boys Status II and my Covert, Hiscox have an away from home amount of £2500 per bike as standard and have covered my Covert valued at £5k with the same level of buildings and contents as Zurich all for an extra £2 per month, i was looking at a Velosure policy which would have been £370 per year for 1 bike only. Thank you!
