Saying that, in your case it might be worth getting something officialy registered about it with the police if you fear losing your job over smelling of weed.

One idea was generating possitive air pressure in the house with a large fan connected to the outside of the house away from them so flow of smoke could be reversed if needed. I havent done that though and would be cold in winter as is ventilating by just opening windows when it does happen every day..

Svord mini peasant here, it is supposed to be legal to carry yet the extended tang stops it closing on your own fingers in use. The tang can be used as a mini pry bar, and usefully it is easy to open one handed. Mainly just carried at work though.

Ive got one its an innova (safari perhaps). One man. Only got used a couple of times, i was given it. Its got a removable fin, massive bag rucksack thing and a sperable possibly fibreglass paddle. The blurb on the website says its very versatile.

Instead of a bell i sort of flick the brake levers to make a clicking noise, its a bit more gentle than a bell and causes less surprise. Also it comes across like you are just changeing gear and not saying get out the way like a bell does. As well as that ive learnt that just slowing right down is best, still get angry looks from grumpy old men even then.
