Dont electric vans do alot of their breaking with the regen system therefore making less particulates from the brake pads? Agreed that the tyres are still producing them though.

Not sure if this is your issue but I have made my new smart tv sound go through a very old (but good ) amp and speakers by useing a optical to analog converter box bought off a popular shopping website for a tenner. It really works a treat and films sound amazing now.

There is oxford wood recycling in Abingdon near Oxford. I know a hobby woodworker who uses them.

I cant help with the tea and coffee but for morning cereal I soak a small handfull of sunflower seeds in the fridge over night, then drain and rinse and stick blend them up with a bit of coconut milk block and water in the bowl. Actually preffer it to milk and beats paying for oat milk and the like which IMHO is a total rip off when you look what is in it.

After reading some of this thread it makes me want to get my little maverick ion working again after water messed up the electrics. The obvious thing to do would just get another cheap ready to run set but that seems wastefull as I already bought a new flysky gt2 transmitter with reciever and the car is basically quite new. Could someone who knows about rc cars perhaps talk me through what new parts to get to make it go again? What should I buy to make it all new motor and esc to run on 2 or 3s lipo?
    For example would this

    https://www.banggood.com/Racerstar-2435-Waterproof-Brushless-Sensorless-Motor-45004800KV-25A-ESC-For-116-118-RC-Car-p-1069989.html?rmmds=search&ID=518004&cur_warehouse=CN

fit in without access to special tools and knowledge and would I also need to buy some new motor output cog? Would the original servo plug in to the flysky reciever or would it need replacing too?

Have seen ketamine being mentioned recently in relation to depression but thats used after other things, and also alot about the bodies inflamation response being a cause. Also heard today that some people that have had covid are getting pretty low moods. Perhaps those last two points are linked.

+1 for CCM flat tracker. Also worth a look for single cylinder is Kedo.de for trick yamaha sr 500 and Xt 500 kits. Road scrambler and flat tracker builds are pretty.

Magnesium defficiency is widespread and lack of it can cause muscle pain. Pairs well with vit D.
+1 for looking in to oxyalates. Cirtain friendly bacteria break it down in the gut. I wonder if anyone is now producing oxylobacter supplement since I last looked. Then there is VSL#3 which is supposed to work.
    Gillgough looks worth some research

In my experience being hungry will make me enjoy my everyday food more. Skip eating for a day and the brain starts creating interesting menus on its own. Fancy food and not hungry < simple food and hungry

I feel for you there Rob, Sounds like your landlord might be thinking get it in now before any legislation is passed to protect you and then being stuck for who knows how long. Without knowing the landlords circumstances but it sounds quite low in fact very low but in my experience nothing unusual. We got kicked out from an 8 year long rental whilst coping with iminent cancer death in a family member but that didnt deter them.
It could also be hard for the landlord to find people to enforce an eviction at this awkward time though.
My bet is you will be protected through sort of backdated legislation soon and will get more time.

The Info on a pack of water based wood preserver I had said it needed to have some coating over the top of it if used externally, ie it will just wash away otherwise. So maybe some matt varnish when after its dried? Its not the natural wood look you are after but the cuprinol garden shades paint has worked well on my shed.

< Our house has alot of air vents all round the edge of the under floor.

To stop your floor from rotting.>

Thanks but that much is obvious and why I havent blocked them off like our neighbours did, but the vents do mean the wind whips through under there. I wouldnt have thought just fibre glass would do much in that situation though as it works best in dead air. Sounds like you have the right plan to do it properly with foam sheets with a damp course and concrete.

Watching thread with interest. This is likely the solution to our cold living room. If a rockwool or wool type insulation is used is it worth having a vapour barrier and or air barrier to stop any wind? Our house has alot of air vents all round the edge of the under floor.

I just realised the Op wants to spend big bucks this so my post sounds a bit out of place.I must have read it in a hurry and missed the last part of the op. If you want to get a better idea of what to do have a look at kitchenknifeforums.com theres plenty to find out on the subject there and many who spend big on their knife hobby.

If you are going to get a water stone. dont go too fine. 1000 and a 3000. Maybe a 2 in 1 stone could be got for not much. Finer are more expensive and are not needed for a kitchen knife. I use a flat piece of aluminium and wet and dry paper for coarser chips etc. this can also be used for flattening the water stones when they get dished. Knock off edge pros type jigs from ali ex are less than £20 havent tried them though. some sort of jig is good though . I made an adjustable angle waterstone holder and then clip a mini spirit level on to the knife so can get a consistent angle when i need it. If you tell me your email i can forward a pic of that. Also a cheap toy like microscope for checking if you are hitting the edge and seeing exactly whats going on is usefull.

    https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Natural-History-Museum-NHM1005-Microscope/dp/B0015X4Y5S/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=microscope&qid=1575449236&sr=8-6

Also making some sort of stone holder over a washing up bowl or for your sink would be great but i just use a sheet of silicone and mop up water with paper or rag as i go along

a bit like this guys one is great but my idea for a mini spirit level with magnet on back is usefull for accuracy.

I would recomend you dont watch topboy. I found it repulsive the way the exploitation on kids and ruining of lives by drugs for money way sort of glossed over as normal and the characters doing it presented as some kind of heros. And I watch anything usually but that just grates so badly.
The king was a great watch recently if you like that sort of thing.

They are maybe 100g when dry. about 3 per week. Thanks for replies. Sounds like if they are saturated with water going in the bin or on some soil wont be a problem.

Current plan then is, as I have half a pot of bitumen paint already, paint just the bottom edge of the battons to stop water wicking up but still allow the wood to breath, while also painting the rest of the batons with some creosote.

Made a few versions of wood gas stoves. Both fan and non fan powered. The tin can one that ends up a bit like a solo stove was quite easy and worked well. The fan powered one made out of a twin walled stainless steel wine cooler was a total beast. They dont work any better than the (quite cheap) bought ones but i was enjoying the process of building and testing them out. Not as clean a meths stove though for actual camping.

Maybe we should do an experiment. I will drink some vinegar and you can drink some…. whatever you are advocating.

I just found this that looks like a good read but not got time now as it is very long. Looks legit though.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3945755/

Perhaps the customer of the gardener I met asked them to use the vinegar instead of alternatives for any number of good reasons. He should be struck off the gardeners register.

+1 for vinegar I know a couple of professional gardeners that use it. They say use it when its not going to rain.

As others have said, hydration, good sleep, (sleep aopnea?) getting enough sunlight? (Vit D broken bones are a red light for that ) some sort of yoga pilates type thing every week. Environmental health eg limit blue light (screens at night) get black out curtains, open the window a bit at night so getting enough air. No caffiene after midday. Eat some cuciferous veg every day, cut out sugar, eat fibre, eggs avocados more rice and protien and fish less wheat. Do electric motorbikes cause numb hands less? Possibly look at them in future.
Plenty that is worth trying that wont cause any harm and may well do some good but habits can be hard to break too.

You can get kits with fan ducting and carbon filters online listed for hydoponics growing ironicaly. I am going to ask a builder friend to cut a hole above front door and make a box to house it. So when we have had enough of the smell we can flick the switch and create possitive pressure in the house. What has caused me to make this decision? On the hottest day of the year our fine neighbours have just set fire to their large collection of dog mess that has over the last few weeks been air dried to just the right amount for burning.
Think twice about reporting things to councils. You might not like the solution they find to your problems.

We are in the same situation so can understand your problem. Got new double glazing but the smell gets in through boiler flue and in summer open doors and windows 24/7. Both the adult and their 4 children and friends.
The social services must be turning a blind eye as Ive seen them visiting before.
