Samuri – my then girlfriend took me out to Ruebins(?) in Leigh about 12 years ago, I'm still surprised she turned out to be my wife. Needless to say we haven't returned. now living on the

    Wirral

best…nice to be near the coast all of which is rideable albeit very flat and more like an estuary than crashing waves and wilderness, north wales 15 min drive away, close(ish) to Lancashire and Lakes. Liverpool, Chester both nearby. Penninsula.

worst…birkenhead, its like Leigh (see couple of posts above)

ahwiles – I know what you mean, but we are NOT freaks, apparently!

Still got the Met predator but on the verge of returning it…..the look on my two teenage daughters faces when they saw it on me said it all! Maybe I'm just para but it looked huge at the sides!

Try wearing gloves and pair of glasses/shades (you may already but not in the photo) – they make you go faster I'm sure…….or is that all in the head!??

TZF – is that what you're going to order her to do tonight for all this disruption she's caused you? Its the very least you deserve

What do you call her when she actually does something 'wrong'?

Leave the kids at nursery til you finish at 8.30 – they wont be thrown outside when nursery finishes left to fend for themselves, they'll be safe and you would have done your lessons, sorted.

Wasn't there some negative views on here re the DX bike specific light, not the P7, when sombody took it apart to examine?

often thought about riding through the mersey tunnels to commute……now that looks unhealthy especially when you can see all the smog in the tunnel when driving through in a car. Not quite food outlets but still unhealthy

Rub the dirty **** face in his chair and ask him if it smells nice. It must be disguisting if he does what you said he does non stop. Embarass the fecker by letting him know his trousers must smell even worse than his chair. Its one step away from him curling one in the office, I'd have to tw*t the fecker.

Well I love my bank – a few years ago I got a full refund of every single bank charge since I was a student (nearly £4k) and from my other bank I'm very shortly receiving all the payment protection I took out on a loan thats taken me 5 years to repay that they 'mis-sold' me……..happy days!

Skiathos – I wouldn't go peak season as I can imagine it gets a bit busy and as its a small place so thats why for the last two years we've gone in May and September. Skiathos town is nice to stroll around and the monestry is nice to visit – after you've done that there isnt an awful lot to do apart from follow the signed walking routes along the coast or find one of the many beautiful deserted beaches.

Spanish Water Dog all the way – used by European Police forces for a and I can see why – very intelligent and keen learners. Will run all day but as the name suggests be prepared for them going for a couple of swims on the way!

If Cathy had an ounce of bush and smoked 3/8ths over the weekend how much has she got left? And based on her weekend consumption how long will the remaining bush last her?

pedalhead……went to look at the RS the other day and the figures for leasing included the deduction for scrappage from another car. This was at a Ford dealership so not sure about actual 'leasing companies'. RS arriving in October, I shouldnt be this excited yet, should I!!

There's no need………….although I did have to call a pedestrian a fkn d*ck this morning for stepping out in to the road making me skid to a halt on a busy road!

I enquired a few months to the tunnel police about riding through the birkenhead tunnel (queensway)and they started reeling off all times you can do it at certain times of the year (different for suimmer and winter I think). There were alot of dates and times thrown at me so I've kind of forgot now but it can definitely be done. You'll have to make a phone call to double check.

Driving through the tunnel the other evening at about 8pm and there was a cyclist in there.

Queensway more central but not by much.

You should have no problem at 4am but double check first incase new prohibitions in force.

Add you can take bikes on the 'underground' (not referred to as the 'tube' up here!)with all trains having cycle storage albeit a bit minimal. I think that they start at around 6am so this will probably be no good to you anyway.

Big descent, equally as big climb!

I'm a bit confused about mine……….she says its too big but that results in making it too tight? How can it be both big and too tight?

Only thing added recently is a new lilly in pond a month or so ago which was purchased from the pond centre I'll be visiting this afternoon…if there was anything wrong with that though surely it would affect all the fish?

Its a raised pond so no surface wayer runs in but i havent used anything at all in the garden recently so I dont think its contamination – again that would affect all the fish wouldn't it?

    Spanish Water Dog.

Had ours now for two years and not one single regret. Great round kids, attentive, alert, willing to learn. Perfect temprement with my two girls who treat it as a toy and pamper her to death……definitely not a 'soft dog' though, just a fab temprement.

As their name suggests they love the water – webbed feet come in handy for her weekly swims int he River Dee, THEY LOVE WATER. USed in Spain (and other countries) as police dogs, rescue dogs, working dogs etc, a thinker

Pure wool coat that when grows goes into loose dreads if you let it…..if you dont like strangers stopping you asking 'what dog is that, isn't she stunning' dont get one!! She's a crowd puller!!.

IN all the two years of having her I havent found one dog hair in the house, they do not shed any of their coat.

Perfect dog for family, training, working. Can run all day too but doesn't get hyper on those odd days when you can only squeeze in a 20 min walk round the fields.

Size – knee height for bitch. larger for dog (technically speaking!!)

    GET ONE!

Montane h20 – good protection in light rain and wind, v v light. When rain gets too heavy and the sweat is dripping off me I always wish I had something more ‘robust’ as it feels like cling film especially on arms and legs. Saying all that though I would buy more montane (got smock, h2o pants and h2o jacket).

How do you know if your dog has a tick or two? Daily walks across fields twice daily and I’ve never seen one on her, never checked her for them mind. Is it obvious when they have them? Detected by sight and touch?

The ‘toilet bowl’ was on Country File yesterday with the female presenter doing it…….looked a piece of p*ss, get a grip!

Seriously, hope you’re ok. I do quite a bit of sea angling and have seen people (and animals) in trouble, not nice. You’ve obviously got huge respect for the sea – goes to show how unpredictable mother nature can be.
