Nope, she always looked quite neat and tidy down there

No, not Anna or Kirsty. Its really pissing me off now and I’m now thinking maybe it wasnt a DIY house programme, more of an interior design programme, not changing rooms. I think it was ch4.

    1. Was having a w*nk the other day and my gran caught me. She was so shocked that she had a stroke. Couldn’t believe how soft her hands were

    Not Terri either.

I reckon she was on tv 10+ years ago.

I agree, Naomi is lovely…….but its not heri’m thinking of.

She was pre-Sarah Beeny days and was ALWAYS pregnant!

No, none of the above, but thanks anyway! She spoke quite posh, wasnt too much of a looker (although I expect some would find her attractive), tall, slim and always pregnant.

..who was the other female presenter, going back a few years now, that was always pregnant? From what I can remember she was tall and slim with a posh accent and presented ‘housey’ programmes.

had mine for 12 months now, cant fault it. Was as shock to have to spend cash on it last weekend on a pair of brake blocks. And lube. Its just ‘simple’, no bleeding, no suspension, wipe down and jobs a good’un. Was in two minds whether a carbon road bike was good idea for daily commute…..it was.

Thanks for suggestions but I should have said its NOT for under a helmet and I want warmth AND dryness for long rides so something bulkier that a skull cap?

Endura stealth sees me good from autumn to spring. Yes, can get a bit warm but good underarm ventilation sorts this out. Great in prolonged downpours, not bulky and good breast and rear pocket.

Know a group of riders who were all at the bottom of steps waiting and watching for last rider to come down………they picked him up from the bottom of steps with helmet peak stuck firmly in his nose (not up it). They all take their peaks off now.

Had to ‘steal’ my own bike when the D lock barrel packed in, paid just short of £90 for it, advertised as highest security rating on the packaging…………took me two mins to get through it with angle grinder, never again shall I be buying an expensive lock. Old bike to commute, other two in house under lock and key *(which I know can also be stolen).

10 of us rode the Pacific Coast Highway from San Fransisco to LA earlier this year on retro mb’s……the views and the riding were fantastic but your California experience looks out of this world, i’m a tad jealous!

Sharki, I have no need for big ring removal, I gota wear baggies as it is.

SO why does the middlering wear quicker than the large if both used equally?

    SiB

[/b]WillTheRealForumPleaseStandUp – just wondering why you said might need new middle chainring too if chain is worn. Are you assuming middle chainring used the most? I’m only asking as recently changed chain and middle chainring slipping now (and I’m pretty sure I use middle and outer equally).

    thanks

Has anyone actually asked if the saddle is still on? Would hurt if it wasn’t

I’m glad I listened to the breeder, seems like its common knowledge not to over exercise in first 12monts, keep her in basket for a few months yet.

It is a good feeling having a reliable riding partner but just be careful if she’s only 4 months old. Was told when I got my dog dont do anything too strenuous for the first 10months as might damage growing bones. Dont know to what extent this is true, if at all, but I always kept the first 10month rides shortish with stops in them. The breeder was dedicated so I kind of listened to what she said.

dont let them get to you no eyed dear, i get the impression that some folk on here are a tad uptight, highly strung, doesnt take much for them to post negativity over something not worth getting negative about, stressheads perhps?

Enjoy the programme, worth a watch

If you're that good friends just ask her, she might be thinking the same too. Just do it, could become a regular event, nsa sex, what more do you want??

p7 torch mounted on bars, spare battery in pocket, plenty for my needs in the dark (mainly singletrack), no fuss, does the job well for £50 imo.

Sprinting from red lights?? I tend to sprint towards red lights, only if they've just changed to red mind. Adrenalin mixed with 'will I wont I make it' is good way to wake up before work

had p7 for 18 months now, jack of all the above (weight excluded), master of none. Makes you want to ride all day, comfortable all day aswell as willing to be taken out for crazy ones. Suits me anyway, feels like will last for years too.

I'm glad my gran didnt have one, my kids are glad their gran hasn't got one (so am I) but its not mine or the kids choice. I've got one but glad its in a place hidden from public view, no regrets.

No help from this post really, sorry!

Friend was saying the other night how baby wipes got gloss off his carpet. Dont know how true it is but he's the diy type and likes to share his 'advice'. Id be surprised if they work but he was swearing by them, so might be worth a try if you've got some handy.

Chep brushes that can be wrapped in cling film between coats (or for a couple of days) and thrown away when job finished

baby wipes will work on hair if they work on carpet?

persistent problem with bel air too but far too comfy too replace. As above, saddle taken off every couple of months for a grease and wd40 now and again where rails enter actual saddle.

Last 'service' I noticed the cover which covers the rails where it enters the saddle has got a cover on with a small allen key fitting…….has anyone opened this and greased?

was rying to decide between the boardman and planet x 12months ago (very similar offer from planet x)……the fact that I could pick the boardman up he same day and not have to pay the building up fee (£100 I think)which planet x were charging were the deciding factors. Boardman is the only roadbike I've ever ridden so Im in no position to say whats better so its lucky I think the Boardman is perfect for me!

Do planet x still charge to build?

Was told by a couple of restauranters not to buy lamb shanks for a while unless you are 100% where they came from as there is a mountain of them somewhere unchilled, shrink wrapped full of additives. Dont know how true but I believe them, shame really!

Was lent one for 6 months a couple of years back, felt a ****t the first 100meter then realised how stress free I was, used to make me smile alot too, sad day handing it back. Not sure if I'd buy one though unless it was purely for 'novelty reasons'.
