its a classic bleat from the left wing who do not understand the private sector ethos

    public service ethos

What Ethos? What a load of rubbish, like the public sector breeds a certain type of philosphy to work and provision!

    Evidence?

its a classic bleat from the right wing who do not understand the public service ethos

LOL, right wing am I? My wife works for a local Auth at reasonably strategic level, the stories I hear about staff protectionism/ inefficiency is quite frankly outrageous. It may, may not be the same in the NHS.

It’s the fear of public workers that is stifling change and progress

Agree, and not just in the NHS. To many people in public sector work worry about their own interests and stifle progress imo.

Shame the owner of Chumba is such a tool though.

    Me?

Nice bike by the way. Having never tried 29er I may give one of these a go this winter.

The reviews over on MTBR seem to say the Yelli is very nimble for a 29er, more so than any other 29er frame due to the short stays.

Thanks to those who have ordered, frames should be here in around 10 days.

Last chance today if anyone else fancies a N9 or Yelli?

Seems si was talking pants when he told me they weren’t making any more yelli’s then.

that was what i was told, but it seems the yelli was popular over in the US.

I only sold a couple of Yelli frames, and no N9 to date, so no chance of any UK feedback on the N9 i’m afraid 🙁

All out of Canfield stock, though I think Canfield have just had a small delivery of Yelli and N9 frames. If anyone fancies one just let me know as I will only be buying to order.

Personally, I would chase FedEx for compensation.

will be doing, but they are not very good at dealing with things like this.

It is a Chumba HX1 26er 17″ frame, so no good for tall people 🙂

What tools to get it back to round though?

Trust me i know, but d locks and other inferior ground anchors are not worth shit. if you are ging to do it, and set it in concrete, do it properly first time round.

Dont scrimp on chains and padlocks either.

Every bloody time he posts a picture of it I start daydreaming, and then start rotting up the total value of all my posessions I could probably live without to be able to afford one… And I already ride a Ti hardtail! Bloody gorgeous ain’t it and I want one!

I wouldn’t worry about it, I only have around half a dozen frames at the moment, so convince yourself they will all be gone soon 🙂

We have offered fork and frame deals before, which we continue to do from time to time, the full build is really to attract a different customer.

We hope to a full bike built very soon of both the 29er and 26er to give people an idea of what they will look like.

I am working on a 15Qr wheelset and Fox fork too and 29er spec to be confirmed.

Managed to spec a 15mm QR fork for the same price 🙂

    29er spec online tomorrow.

Chumba HX2? New one is quite light and will work well with 100mm.

OK, I have managed to spec a full build and (i think) be competitve with the price.

I am working on a 15Qr wheelset and Fox fork too and 29er spec to be confirmed.

Also looking at a singlespeed 1k bike for both 26er and 29er.

I know it wont please some, but it looks an OK spec to me for the money 🙂

don’t worry, STW is not the only place I have asked the question 🙂

I think i can compete on spec and price with the big boys and I have managed to keep cash usage to a minimum to give it a go with the full bikes.

Thanks all for your contributions, much appreciated.
