£165 for 1.6m3?! Shop around; depending where you live you should be able to get it cheaper

They did have a look around, point me in the direction where they can buy it cheaper and have it delivered?

The small back of truck loads are more a less a thing of the past and not always dry, or so they tell me.

Very nice! Thinking of having a stove, inlaws have 3 and they are great.

Inlaws recommend using these for hardwood logs.

We have recently reduced the Chumba HX1 frames from £399 down to £299. They are good for forks between 120 and 140mm, come with an EBB, tapered head tube.

TBH hundreds of bikes are sold there every weekend (well known s/h goods market), most of them legit. You do always get scrotes who sell bent gear though, it’s always bin like that down there. It’s a magnet for people looking for cheap bikes; many are unaware/uncaring that they are stolen. The police round here have precious resources as it is, and bike theft isn’t seen as high-priority.

carrying offensive weapons, GBH and Murder are though….

Wouldn’t be an issue if people didn’t steal bikes

jeez, anyone would think this is a MTB forum where folks can ask MTB related questions!

hora, ask about some sort of cx, 29er type or lights to illuminate the moon thing and they would be all over it.

some good suggestions here, having fallen off a few weeks ago and busting my knee doing nothing more than ‘XC’ a set of pads might be in order.

I’ve an idea: why not post this in the Chat Forum then you’ll have a full house? Or email Chipps direct and they can maybe run a feature in the news section of the website or even next edition of the magazine?

*please note I don’t use smileys because I’m not a teenage girl but if I did I’d employ the one that signifies sarcasm right now – the winking sunglass one maybe?

    Good luck in your quest…

We are now doing the HX1 and HX2 for £299.

I’ll go out on a limb here and say that there is not a frame at that price that is in the same league, quality wise, as the Chumba frames. It’s just a case of does it have the features/geo that you require.

Only difference is that the backers of the Labour party are the Unions, their primary interest is the benefit of their members, not the benefit of the nation as a whole

Every time I click a link to the Daily Mash, I read it, and it’s just, well….. lame. Very LAME.

Is it meant to be funny? I really don’t know, it’s just dross IMO.

All I see is a bunch of internerds trying to be clever and ironic, and trying too hard and failing. It really is a load of lame shite.

    Agree

A heads up, all Chumba HX2 and Chumba HX1 frames are now £299. Colours and sizes are pretty limited.

A burst of 30mm rounds would have the same effect, I guess range is the main reason to use a guided missile but there’s not a lot of threats to an Apache at 30mm gun range out there.

Still have to get close enough for the target to realise its being tracked, making it harder to get a clean kill i suppose.

The older frame had less clearance with a front mech/massive tyre. newer one is better, certainly no worse than any other 29er frame.

The frame clearance is huge, will fit a big volume tyre no problem.

never heard of anyone complain about the EBB, in fact if they are not greased well they are a struggle to move.

Bizarre. I just register for the trade days, then you can use the same ticket all weekend long. Easy peasy

In the trade then? they are trying to tighten up scoundrels getting in for free and are asking for proof of ID of where you work.
