So Si, what sort of size would I be wanting if I were to have one of these then? I'm just over 5'10" and would want something for woodsy type riding, say 2-3 hours with more emphasis on playing than all day trail riding.

Either the 17" or 18" depending on which TT length you prefer, though i think the 17" would be about right as they have pretty long top tubes.

Not just a ploy, but i don't have many of these frames left and the next batch may be a while off yet.

Most does not always equal best. Do you think DW designed the linkage with pro pedal in mind?

Why is the rp 23 the best fox shock, because it costs the most?

No idea about the On One, but if you want something that will be similar check out the Brodie Holeshot. £1099 for the frame. The Holeshot was one of THE original long travel hardtails, the Ti versions builds on that long heritage.

Sizes are 16" Small, 17" Medium, 18" Large, 19" XL. The TT are quite long just to make you aware 🙂

I currently only have 4 of each size available and lots of interest in the 17 and 18" sizes.

I run a Van 32 and CCDB on my trail bike, the added 1-1.5lB is far outweighed by the suspension control of coil imo.

The Brodie Holeshot is a classic frame, with typical Canadian geo, long TT, slack and tough. I expect to have a few frames available though most are being reserved fast. Price will be around £1-£1.2K, I'll hope to know for sure by the end of the week.

I was at Pines once and came across a couple and their kid having a picnic slap bang in the middle of the red trail, there was a mass of trees either side so nowhere to go except over the picnic blanket! made me chuckle 🙂

Why would it be bad for pedalling?

    si-wilson

That's the reason I said 'something like that' cos in sure there is more to it, I just don't understand it 🙂

    si-wilson

Also, the latest pedals don't have as much bulge near the inner side of the pedal axle, which used to annoy some.

    si-wilson
    Free Member

The fact that your foot is so close to the axle means when at the bottom of the stroke you can wrap your foot around the pedal
more enabling you to keep contact with the pedal stroke longer, or something like that 🙂
