It never fails to amaze me the amount of times we here that the Tories are going to ruin thus country blah blah without any ownership of the fact that the country is already on it’s arse and how that was allowed to happen. The whole issue cannot be blamed on sub prime lending but on GROSS mismanagement of running uk plc, thanks to labour. Tj and others I have still not heard or seen what the spineless idiots of labour would have done other than to raise tax to keep social welfare spending (and their core voters) to get us out of this mess?

One other thing, if the tories wanted more than one term in power what would be the worst thing they could do, create mass unemployment and generally ruin the country? That would work well eh when it comes to voting next time?

getting around the fact that lapierre have sold a LOT of bikes in the last few years.

For sure they are good bikes, just like the previous everyones favourite brand commencal, guess what both brands have in common? Very big backing from large distributors and marketing budgets to suit.

IMO the orange is better built frame than the lappierre, though I’m sure others will prefer the lappierre package.

Orange have never been known for good value, but are known for being a top quality and well thought out product. I think the price is fair for the kit involved. If you want to bud your own then so be it, but orange an the dealers need ti make a decent margin on such high value investments. All IMO

Not sure you will get much feedback as there aren’t that many in existence! They are nice though 😉

There are no Chumba dealers, now only available direct through myself. If there were Chumba dealers the frames would be at least £400 more, just like a Cove/Intense for example 🙂

    Hi Si

i like the look of the Chumba, what sort of price could you do a frame, 160mm forks Talas or Lyrics and a coil rear shock?

I can supply OE Float 36 RLC without kashima with the EVO frame for £525, TALAS for a little more. I can supply Lyrics but not at such good prices.

We are also offering the excellent Elka stage 5 rear coil shock as a £50 (rrp £400) upgrade when purchased with the frame, now that is a bargain!

That snow boarding vid is insane, though i see it as more of a stunt, one off type of thing rather than what the guys are doing every time they go out. Still mucho respect!

Ship protection – not doping a great job off somalia. Again not defending these islands

So if its not in our back yard leave them to it? Somalia is a tough place you know, not easy to police with limited resources….

Elfin, have you seen what is happening in Pakistan? It looks to me like whatever is really happening you just hide behind the big evil conspiracy. Maybe we should chance it and let things unravel and hope for the best.

bigeared makes a good point, the RN do much more than just blow stuff up, as do the army, but hey we dont need to be doing that shit, unless it affects you personally that is.

Trident missiles are, I take it, very useful for this?

    Now you are being silly.

Do you think North Korea or Iran (or other unforseen) would be happier with us having nukes or not having them?

elfin, again you talk about conflicts like afghan with some so called authority. Iraq may have been about Oil, though i think it was about revenge, unfinished business for the US, but afghan is about something else. Pakistan is on its arse, and the Taliban in afghan would have a field day in Pakistan if they had not got their handsfull with Nato in afghan.

I know people serving in afghan, one of them is a Major, he is there purely to improve literacy, not English literacy but Afghan literacy as it is below 20%. Now why would we do that? The loss of life is a disgrace, but don’t think for one minute it would be any better if Nato were not there.

Tandem, for some reason it irks me that you can decide that it was OK to go to bosnia but every other conflict was just us posturing. It’s a good job we had a good sized army in the 40’s eh?

It could have been any number of types of people. The bikes were mainly my own bikes in my own shed, not my normal stock storage.

It could have been that someone has seen me riding my bike home, someone who has enquired about a frame then seen where i live (registered address on the website) and put two and two together.

They were certainly after the bikes and knew what they were doing, must have been a massive set of croppers to get through the padlocks i have/had.

Guy on the radio said official figures from the union members around the world was something like 12-14k deaths per year that were recorded. They also reckon China and Africa have thousdands die every year that go unrecorded, China alone thought to be in the region of 15-20k and many children in Africa that die un recorded.

Can you imagine if this was any other industry or a war?
