Hello all, I closed Progressive Bikes down last summer, Chumba basically disappeared over night and left me in the lurch, so it was time to move on.

Like i said, I can get the RS for a lot less than rrp, and with the savings the first thing to change would be the wheels and tyres.

The lack of cable mounts is a bit annoying but I like 1x whatever systems anyway do shouldn’t be an issue.

Thanks for the views. The deal I have been offered is very good so I reckon it’s worth a punt.

    Anyone else?

I have been offered one at a very good price, but the wheel set is putting me off.

I can’t compare to the 26″ as i have never ridden one, i know, can you believe it! 🙂 It’s a bit of a punt to be honest, but the single pivot is a bonus as i can’t be arsed with all the fettling of multi pivots, and the rets of the kit is just as i would spec, apart from the wheels and tyres.

mobile sites are shite. Responsive sites are not. STW should be responsive to smaller screens.

Did you ride both the g150 and orange? Any useful comparisons?

No dress code, and the door staff/policy is relaxed 🙂 £5 on the door or tickets from here

Unlikely to hear Chris Liebing/Bryan Black (shame!) type Techno but expect to hear a good mix of Deep House from the likes of Steve Bug, Dubspeeka, Scuba, Daniel Dexter etc and Tech House/Techno from the likes of Matador, Pig & Dan, Paul Ritch, Martin Landsky etc.

The DJ is a local lad, he’s pretty good 🙂 If it becomes a successful night then all future events will be about new and local DJ talent.

    The venue address is;

Has anyone used a middleburn UNO 1×10 without a top guide with any success?

Get an on-one, spend the money saved on nice wheels, you’ll notice it more.

How so? Presuming wheels were of a reasonable standard i think the difference between the cotic and on one would be significant. IMO buy the Solaris 🙂

I like it. Typical Sasha, and I wouldn’t want it any other way! The electronic music scene is very vibrant at the moment and there is plenty of room for all sorts :).

Plus mbuk isnt yoof’ ffs is it. Haters tend to say that.

Agree with this, people say the same old crap about mbuk, mbr, singletrack etc. They are all pretty good really.

Agree, some will be getting better deals on trade prices.

The fact is that the sales of these products are quite low volume, and when you consider advertising, sponsor ships, warranty work etc then it all adds up to expensive product.

2013 Santa Cruz Bicycles Blur LT Carbon With FOX CTD Kashima $2899

    $2899 – 30% = $2029.3 / 1.45 XE = £1399

    £1399 + £50 shipping = £1449 + 5 ish % import duty (£75 ish) = £1524 + handling around £20 so £1544.

£1500 ish to get that frame here, add dealer margin of 30% ish minimum (£450 ish) £1950, and the distributor profit and VAT at 20% makes the frames about the right price. I’m not saying that its good value, but not the rip off by the distributor some claim.

On a frame how much do you think a distributor and then shop should/could make? Don’t forget shipping, tax, vat, handling and possible dumping tax in some instances. 🙂

You can step the travel down in the float by 10mm increments, which I could do for you 🙂

The fox float 140rlc would be a good option. Perhaps not the best in small bump sensitivity but up there.

Not the cheapest either, but email me and I can offer you a good price 🙂

Can we do a best current track? All these old tracks, are a bit, old?

There is so much good stuff out around at the moment, in all genres 🙂

I’ll start with Clouds – Consciousness, are you man enough for this? 🙂

Chris Liebing played this at TimeWarp in Holland last December, blew the place apart!

The fact you can speak directly to Cy on here or by phone is fab.

If you unsure on both but like both frames go with the one with the best customer service…
