Im currently looking at the Cumulus Quilt 250 and pairing with my thermorest xlite and a silk liner. Rock and run currently doing the RAB top module bag for £69, so tempted by that also. Will be using a bivi bag though.

The boys want a deer, but not sure that’s going to happen unless its very small and likes to commute to the city on an evening!

I’m guessing this has four batteries (Front, Rear, Shifters) you are going to have to remove to charge and how long do they last as I’m also guessing they will be smaller. Plus if there are firmware updates do you have to plug each one in turn to check for update/update. One more: if the bike manufacturer has made the frame just for this so there are no holes in the frame and you want to go back to mechanical or Sram recall what happens then.
Also how accurate do you need to be with the “both at once” to change the front. I know with my Di2 I sometimes press both when changing down the front to try and lessen the jump in cadence.

Just as the camera drops you can see the potential gun man. Why? What is wrong with people…

I heard di2 puts a bit more stress on the rear hanger. Get a wheels manufacturing replacement hanger.

Buffet breakfast attacked now just the wait to the start. Weather does not look good for tonight’s start. The Muur should be interesting in torrential rain, darkness, all the bags and 200 other racers!

I seem to be trying to get lots of countries in. From Montenegro, I dip into Albania then again Montenegro, then Kosovo, Macedonia, then a very tiny dip in Bulgaria into Greece.

Shameless plug for stuff I’m trying to Sell.

If you are happy with second hand, I have a complete base pram/Car seat/ carry cot and buggy board from Jane. Its the Jane Slalom Pro set. It is in excellent condition. Its got everything you are asking for plus DISC BRAKES!!!!

It has been great and the brakes really help when your going down a steep slopes in Sheffield. Suitable for children age 0-4, non smoker and pet house and its all been machine washed as all the covers come off.

Absolute bargain at £100 (Cost over £600, 4 years ago) as its taking up space. Its red so you know that’s faster.

Training for my bike road ride this summer, I’ve been wearing my Morvelo jersey for every weekend ride and its been great. Now I’ve lost some timber, I’ve just got a Morvelo Nth series Jersey and Bibs and the quality looks great. Can’t wait to test them out this weekend. Haven’t bought new cycle kit for about three years, so I’m expecting magic from the new pad…(Like when you buy a new pillow!)

Edit: to answer your question I’d say look elsewhere.

Fitting SKS Bluemels was quite easy

Front is just as normal, rear has a couple of bodges required.
    For the rear
The bottom fitting by the bottom bracket I used a P clip.
Then using an off cut from the metal poles I used this as the top bridge.

You’ll need a seat post compatible with the internal battery.
Get the 5 port junction box as the hydra shifters don’t have the extra ports like the mechanical brake shifters and you will need an extra port for climbers switch etc.
You don’t need a bike shop to update. Just down load the etube software and plug in the internal battery charging cable. Easy to do.
I just charge mine to be safe once a month and it only takes 1.5 hours to do.
You’ll also need a bleed kit

Must be spring, cobb chat, next it will be bell tents.

Wrap tatties and fat of choice in tin foil to make a sausage shape then stick round the side next to the coals (6-8) 1 hour+
Did lamb burgers, potatoes(1hour+), green beans+mini corn+butter(15min) and carrot sticks and butter(25min) in mine last weekend for 4.
    Tasty!
Did a whole chicken (Small) before covered in BBQ sauce for 2hours

The cable is quite thick, thicker than the stuff i’ve used in the past for lights etc. Probably double thickness.

I have the rear secula light as well which mounts on the chain stay. Its really bright and has a stand light for about 10 minutes after stopping.
Not had any problems with it on the mountain bike and now its on the road bike its just worked. Even when its covered in mud and salty water from the stupid mudguards that drip the dirty water onto it and the brakes. Sorry for the blurry pic.

Snow snow snowing in Sheffield. Volunteered to drive the wife to work today so I could test the winter tires out. Defo worth it just for the pleasure of driving past BMW drivers and been able to go up the quiet back roads….

For bike seat pack i’ve got two options:
    1. Alpkit Koala with dry bag
    2. Wildcat Tiger with alpkit tapered drybag

Any one running this and have any recommendations?
Its for a road bike and the TCR, so will be carrying jacket and stuff while training and sleeping stuff an clothes on the actual ride…
Leaning towards the Wildcat, as you can leave it on the bike and just take off the dry bag, so is it easier than the full seat bag?
Will also be lighter I’m guessing.
But will the dry bag get damaged as it has no protection??

Would rather leave the choice until nearer the time, but it is christmas!
    Thanks

Yep you have to undo the rear guard a bit to get the rear off. Ones I have are the biggest that will fit. You use the cut off guard pole? To make a bridge for the rear guard. Can do a picture if you want. Mine were £20 ish from Germany.
Praying for snow on the commute this year.
My chain tugs are in the middle as it came.

About to put our pram system up for sale. If your anywhere near Sheffield. It’s a Jane slalom pro. Includes car seat, carry cot ( which we used for them to sleep in from birth instead of a Moses basket. And then has a seat for up to 4yrs old. Also is disc braked!
