There was a firmware update last month to fix the battery usage. Not particular noticed any massive problem before the update. If you have a PC the firmware is ready to update. If you have a Mac then you are buggered.

Freehold or leasehold Property. If leasehold let their landlord know of a significant change, that will be a nice bill for them!

I know it’s not any help, but I thought that is you had been fixed term for 4 years in a row then they had to make you permenant. Or this may just be a policy at my place.

definitely agree with Trail_rat. Wildcat harness and tapered 13l dry bag from alpkit. once fitted you can just clip the bag in and out, and works out lighter as on the others you will need a dry bag inside as well as they are not waterproof.

Definitely the challenge. Did the 3 coasts audax last June. 600km Halifax- Bridlington-Halifax-Blackpool-Halifax . I didn’t stop to sleep as I just wanted to push myself and see how far I could go before breaking. At 450km both knees went and I spent the next 150km in pain but I finished and only 30 minutes behind the winner (Audax is not a race, Audax is not a race, AUDAX IN NOT A RACE!) and he had 1 hour lead on me at 400km. Love cycling through the night.

First sign up to the Audax club £19. Then get along to as many 200km/300km and 400km rides as you can. I started from riding 30 miles every so often in Jan to riding 600km in June and 1200km in July. I did 10 x 200km rides and 1x 300km ride before the 600Km. I did the 600km including stops in 28hrs and 1 minute and most of this was solo and a hillish route. So 300 miles to London is quite flat and I’m guessing a biggish group, so 24hrs shouldn’t be a problem.
Make your you have a good saddle, stiff shoes and plenty of tape on your bars. Stay off the caffeine leading up to the event if you can, then you’ll get an extra boost on the day.

Edit: £240!!! I know it’s for charity but you could do a 600km audax for £25 quid and get people to sponsor you. This way more money would go to the charity of your choice.

Thanks. That plan is out of the window then. I did notice the rear tyre was really easy to get on with just my thumbs and not even any effort.

On our house with Santander we got initially a two year fixed over 35 years, after the two years we have fixed for another 5 years at a cheaper rate, so I just decreased the term by 4 years so get the payments at the same rate. Easy

When I left they gave me it free for 12 months. I still have sky broadband and phone. Looking at my bill they are charging me the £10 for the recording but taking £10 off my line rental. Plus the broadband is free for a year. So £16.

I do wonder how many butlers I’m going to need, as they run to open the door for me and have their legs taken off! So how many would a family of 5 need?

The video is fake, the only bit with any actual flying is at the end outside the mansion. Even then its only a few meters off the ground and a person isn’t visible. $180,000-$200,000 is the price at the moment.

I got a bank transfer when I claimed my cashback from sony about 3 or 4 months ago. Got mine from Harrisons in Sheffield the II with the official case thrown in and it was double cash back at the time(£80). Also traded in my old camera and lenses to fund it.

Usually in the contract it will state that the company will pay your solicitor fees upto a certain amount. You probably want the company to agree a prewritten reference as well.
Plus you have probably already broken that agreement by disclosing what has happened online and if someone links it back, they could legally get the money back! So you may want to get this deleted.

Just ordered a Traxxas bandit from Amazon warehouse for the 5/6 year old, was going to get a Rustler but this was a good deal (Might get myself the rustler!!) Loads of youtube videos which is what tempted me. Just annoying that you have to buy separately the UK DC to AC convertor for £20.

Pro rata at my place. If the bank holiday is your normal working day then you would owe the company 0.2 days. That is if 5 days is full time and 4 days is 0.8. If the bank holiday is on your non working day then you owe the employee 0.2 days. We have flexi time so easy to work back extra. Or you could just work it out at the beginning of the year and take or add on the required days from holiday allowance.

I cancelled mine last week. I’ve kept broadband and weekend calls as they finally caves and gave me it for fee (12 months) still line rental though. They also gave me the Sky+ functionality for 12 months, so I can pause and record the channels I’ll still be able to get (normally £10 a month)
