Superb pack which ever you go for.

That’s what I’m looking for something that can be used for normal xc as have cracked knees before.

Have tried kyles but found them a bit bulky over longer distances

Osprey Viper 13 here best pack ive had so much better than Camelbaks ive had IMO.

Will cinch up nice and small for local rides and expand to carry everything needed for a full day.

The ease of using the bladder alone sold it for me.

Also a Helius CC which replaced a Mojo SL with no regrets. As said above run mine beefed up short stem wide bars flow rims Rev uturns etc etc . Never left wanting for more bike and climbs superbly, I also like the versatility the adjustable rear travel brings (which also alters the geom on the CC) can be two bikes ie lots of travel or short and snappy for local rides.
Just a great do it all trail bike will never sell and that’s coming from a serial bike buyer/swapper

Recently got and have been usung the Haglofs Endo on the bike.
Having had standard Gore bike jackets before the active shell is in a different league for breathability.
I also was suspect of how tough/tear resistant the material was. But having ragged the arm across a broken sticking out branch, on my last ride thought it was curtains but not a mark. Should say I caught this branch hard enough to mark my arm.
And totaly waterproof a very very good bit of kit.

^^ Up past St Leonards farm turn right into the coach park, through the style at the end. Follow the obvious track and the new downhill stuff is to the left and right of the track as you climb.

Ive had a stealth , Tool and a Cosmo and whilst these jackets are/look toasty warm. I find them to be too much so ive just purchased the Alp X SO.

These type of jackets are more flexable by just adjusting your base layer/layers.

You end up with a jacket you can wear all year, and of course take the arms off the Alp X and you have a windproof gilet, which is a brilliant garment to have in your kit.

Nice liitle review from Ed @ Great Rock here[/url]

I’ll counter the service at Chevin as once again local to me. Have called them on more than one occasion off spec when I’ve needed help with a mechanical or something fitting. Have always helped no problem and in most.cases have had to insist they take something for the job !

Think the tec Is Mathew brilliant have recommended them to others and will use them again.

Also goes for you Ed @ Crosstrax

So you can have helpful LBS are you listening AT ?

Had the same with the same shop.

Find item on line mmm thats a good price lets see how much postage is ?

Oh hang on it’s now not such a good price factoring in postage.

I know ill ring them up as I live a mile up the road.

Hi would you be able to offer the same price for xyz that I have seen on – line if I pop down (ill no doubt have a browse round whilst there and buy something else I didnt know I wanted)

Shop – No web side is a different business – ok how about if I order it now on-line and then pop down would save you having to post it out ?

Shop – No we cant do that either.

Ok not quite getting this now it would appear for the sake of you not having to post it and me using my time/fuel to come and get it you would rather me not buy it ?

Got you ok will keep shoppig else where thanks .

Great business sense – live long and prosper 8O
