Just had some B.O.R XMD 388 rims built to Evo Pro 2’s by Moonglu.

Was looking at Arch EX but the B.O.R rims were recommended to me on here.

Very similar profile to the Arch but with a few key differences.

XTR trails fail I’m on my third set all under warranty, lots of other people in the same situation.
XT’s seam to be lasting a bit better.

You can manually calfiddle the barrel that the cable pulls (when attached) which will raise the post .
So take the KS cap off look at the little barrel thingymibob, I used a little screw driver to tease it out so I could then pull it with my fingers .

After a suggestion on here I’m.currently having a set of BOR 388 rims built up. These are going on my Soul have a look on Moonglu Web for a bit of info.
Very similar in spec to the Arch EX but with a few IMO nicer details.

I just purchased a pack of two KMC ones from Wiggle for £4.99 I think.

The BOR rims look interesting and in stock with Moonglu who are currently building some Flow EX for my Nicolai.

Don’t think I would want to go wider than a Flow on the Soul. Just think the Flows are overkill for the Soul/my riding on it.

The BCD is 104 so any bash would fit e13 etc.

But instead of trying to mimic the look of the triple with a bash as above fit any bash then fit

The mech is a Shimano XT M786 shadow plus SGS in black currently advertised in classifieds.

Packaging went in the bin on Friday.
The reason for changing my mind was installing a 2 x 10 set up on my bike. Gearing/cassette wise I went for the long cage, other parts of the set up had not arrived. Then had a change of mind and corrected the other items. Thus the mech was now the wrong one and I required a M cage.
Never intended to be arsy the returns procedure states that they will levy a surcharge for missing/damaged packaging. Fine no problems happy with that and I wanted to just return exchange for the different mech.

Lifes too short will just order else where and never shop wih them again.

Would agree billy the component is a mech and if I had just decided I didn’t want it well then fair enough.
But was only looking for a exchange on the item for a slightly different version.
