One up 42t with the RAD cage and a 16t added in. Shimano medium cage mech and it all shifts perfectly. For me could not now imagine moving back to a 2 x 3 x system. Have the range of gears that suit me and my riding.

As good as the Shimano are they will lock you up on something slow , when perhaps you just need to keep rolling. So as people seem to say perhaps this is where the Hopes beat the big S
