Had both Hebtroco and Hiut , the extra is well worth it for the Hiut’s.

Nicer detailing and fit on the Hiut’s, sold the Hebtroco as a bit M&S like somehow.

Good points on battery, typical navigated rides I do are in the 3/4/5 hour range. So it would appear that I should have plenty of juice.

I’m coming from an Etrex 20 which ate through batteries fairly quickly.

Worth doing I was told by a suspension workshop that a lot of the perceived bushing issue’s were in fact noise from lack of fluid.

Mine are fitted to an Epic Evo , looked at other options like the latest Fox 34 step cast, but the SID’s are too good.

My SID ultimate’s are superb. Checked for correct fluid levels from new, and adjusted as typical Rock Shox low.

I was waiting on a Spur frame for 18mths. Gave up in the end and purchased a full build Epic Evo comp. Swapped everything with the build kit I had for the Spur. Absolutely outstanding bike around 22lbs and more than capable. No regrets at all and glad I couldn’t get the Spur as the Epic (imo) is more of an all-rounder.

I would recommend the pack im about to list in the classifieds.  A Osprey Archeon 24 used once or twice top’s.

Yes has the routing/exit port for a lockout cable.

Mine has SID Ultimate’s 120mm which is exceptional for it’s travel and weight.

I have a Comp now turned into SWorks and some build. DT Swiss/240 carbon wheel’s, full XTR , Enve bars etc. Even found the carbon shock yoke that comes on the SWorks version.

It’s a superb bike picks up speed so quickly, but also quite happy with a bit of tech/rough just pick your line. Mine is sub 23lbs now easily and fly’s uphill.

Originally had a Spur frame on order but this presented itself at the beginning of the year. Don’t regret the choice at all and probably more of a all rounder than the Spur.

Think of it as a really light short travel trail bike.

Would post pic’s but not sure how anymore!

Its a small seat tube mounted mud guard thing, designed specifically for the frame I have. Material some sort of hard wearing/rigid plastic.

It’s for a new Stanton frame so might leave it to them to source ?

It would appear no actual RAL code is exactly the same.

    6019 & 6021 are close (ish)

Had a Spur frame on order since August 19. Due to the current situation delivery date kept moving, with a ‘possible’ June 22 delivery.

Finally had enough and looked around and purchased a new 2021 Epic Evo full bike. Not disappointed at all ! Full build kit for the Spur is building it up. Have sold the build kit it came with.

As said the Spur was at the more downhill side of the ‘down country’ category, the Epic seems to be in the middle. Exactly what I wanted a ride all day get up over and down most things trail bike. Plus it’s crazy light, lighter than the Spur would have been, win win.

My late father’s Omega. Given to him in January 1967 for his 21st. Needed a little work when I inherited it. Now my most treasured watch.

Along side my latest purchase a Timefactors Smith’s PRS-29A.
