transit connect think its a 1.8tdci just droped my turbo 2days after a 60000 service,yesterday a college after his 300000 service last week droped his turbo company car so not a worry. was only saying to the garage before mine failed that the services are getting silly at 15000 when walking around the workshop the amount of stripped down newish motors is an eye opener

your shower needs 60-65degt hot water at 8lts water flow, your boiler is not holdind this and is cutting out. could be you have hot water turned to low on controls poor flow but more likly you need to get it seviced and check water flow and hot water temp stat. easy way to check if boiler or shower hold onto hot pipework to shower if this goes cold its the boiler if it stays hot put shower going cold possible its the shower .if your shower needs flow limiters fitting check instruction book have they been fitted?

with regards the seatpost issue, had one of the very first in the country from sideways seatpost clamp came loose on first ride maverick could not be more helpful sent loads of free goodies from the states to say sorry. when they sold the design to crankbrothers it was crankbrothers that decided to stop stocking the spares but as maverick had sold the design rights what can they do. they helped again by sending loads of spare parts they had at the warehouse

had a little problem with my mojo a year ago Ibis very kindly upgraded to the sl naked carbon (why go carbon then paint it 😕 ) with carbon shock for a few £. the Hd was 6months away so did not wait, wish i had but the sl is still a very good ride.

when they make a frame which cracks in the same place on all of them and they refuse to see a warranty issue blaming it on you and not a design fault then you have no hope with a warranty claim on a bottom bracket, me i have 2 pairs of their forks have had problems and have had to pay each time to get it sorted best advice is to aviod unless you have no other choice but then someone is going to come on later and say they are the best company they have delt with but not many i think 🙁 good looking products poor build quality and warranty back up

yep old/new inner tube pulled over it to stop it getting dirty and it will last much longer and a little grease to keep it all nice and smooth

went to put new rails and spindals on the stairs in june, no problem like a challange me. knew something was wrong but just could not put my finger on it till i measured the 2 newel posts the one at the bottom of the stairs was 4″ shorter. took my chippy mate a good 1.1/2hrs with all the proper tools to put right.
