How much travel do you run? 100mm
For what type(s) of riding? XC and longer distance
And how much sag % wise (roughly)? 25%
Also any suggestions?
Cheers
Did the same last week :)
The air spring will be easier to set up than coil. Coil you will have to spend money getting the correct coil for your weight
Manufactured weights will always be different to the weighing it yourself.
I have mine same time as Taff and my bearings are smooth as smooth.
Is it a hope pro 2? if so then you just change adapters.

If it is a coil fork then the coil scratches the inside of the surface so the damper seals won’t seal in the left leg.
Maybe try outside of hope as there is some decent riding to be about.
try Justgoride.co.uk
I get on well with the kelvar pads.
if the triple suits him and where he rides then I don’t see a problem.
Concentrated washing up liquid did the trick for me
Might be better asked on the xcracer forum
Not sure about the advantages it has but yes it will fit on your hope pro II cassette
I bought some black flag pros in the CRC sale. I found them very good but not sure I would pay full price for them.
Got a spare one you can have. It’ll probably be Wednesday by the time I get to post it.
I would prefer to have a bike that works rather than having to fix a really good one all the time. Suppose I choose cycling as a sport then upgrading and fettling is a hobby.
Tried a longer bolt and it doesn’t seem to tighten. Thanks for the help I have ordered a kit off amazon which should arrive Wednesday
If it was the stem bolt I would, but it’s brake bolt on the front fork.
Looks like i’ll just book it into 18 bikes and spend another week without the bike :(
Not to worry
I just phoned you earlier today, you have a busy workshop so I was trying to get it done quicker
I did it with a standard hand drill, if you’re careful it is fairly simple.
Johnners oh right you caught me out :)
I’m really enjoying the series. There is a series 2 that is already out in america.
New wheels it is
I noticed it last week, if I hadn’t of bought a frame the week before I would of bought it :(
what neilforrow said is a great idea. Where are you based?
Yeah a pilot hole with a good quality drill bit
Cutting fluid helps. And a bolt extractor makes the job a piece of cake
I got a hope pro II on a WTB all mountain rim but I don’t have the spacers for 15mm
With all the air out of the air chamber do you achieve full travel?
The main weight difference between xt and slx is the chainrings
I guess it’s to make the forks look good.
This a joke?
I would be surprised if the logos were on the outside rather than facing the wheel
We got 7 working collies so we buy working dog food in massive bulk bags.
warton –
Took my dog to the vets due to him coughing blood up :(
Did anyone read that as “mars bars” ?
Haha yeah I noticed after the second picture :)
