Kahurangi – Do you have to pay to ride through victoria park?

Kahurangi – My initial plan is to put semi slicks on and whilst I’m working use it mainly for road training then buy some tyres in nz or order from Germany when I move up to Malborough. I can handle the Peak District on the spark so some trails may be out of bounds but hopefully there will be some ones I can do.

Feed – Yes putting on fresh tyres and cleaning everything on Sunday before I pack.

Thanks very much Steve, I’ll go in after my 14 days in prison (Isolation)

Definitely worth taking the bike then and also 90 minutes away from the ski fields.

Some nice mtb routes straight out of Buxton.

I’m from Taddington so a little out but if you need any routes then email me on iainjagger@gmail.com

Got a bearing press which would do the job. I’m between Buxton and Bakewell if it’s any use. Email me on iainjagger@gmail.com as I don’t check here often

I was up Longstone edge last night and had 3ft drifts all the way to Eyam which was hard work. Might try a route round Hope tonight.

I’m also keen to know about routes round there as I may go for a night ride tonight but if there’s 2 ft snow all over then not much point

As long as it’s well supported on the outer face and you use the press squarely then you won’t damage anything. Just take it steady as 35 tons is a fair amount

Yeah I noticed that. I’ll try them once they’re open. It’s a pain they had plenty in stock last month and none now!

    Thanks that’s really helpful.

I don’t want super light weight, I want durability as well

Great. I know the best waterproof won’t keep you dry in the worst but if it keeps me warm. I shall order one now

Sorry but that was awful. No engineering no building. All he did was put some rivets in and hang on a big bar to tighten it up.

One sides fine the other is slightly too big I just wrapped a couple wraps of electrical tape and it holds up fine.

No problems with the bottom bracket being loose like my whippet? I’m also based in Peterborough if that’s close to anyone

Where abouts are you based. I’m similar to you So I may try and go with a 19.5. Have you had any problems with them?

I reckon Rebas or Revs like above with the most expensive damper you can afford. The thing with rockshox is they are easily serviceable

How much you wanting to spend?

Yeah sorry maybe not enough information. Ride length about 30-50 miles mainly cross country type of riding. Don’t mind driving from Windermere if there is a decent ride.

I would of thought so with it being Alloy and hollow. I may get the Superstar axle to try it as it’s half the price of the RWS

For lighting over winter I’m thinking of my Max-D with the cable flare to the back. What about waterproof clothing?

STIHL MS181 will be perfect for fairly big wood.
