They do look slightly odd but you’ll probably get used to it and not even notice after a while. If they do bug you you could add some more timber on the front of the uprights going up to meet them from the floor so they don’t look quite so obvious….

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I’m in the east of the uk. I’ve done the c2c a couple of times and the North penine way. I would probably leave the car at home for the family to use but can fly from stansted quite easily or train. I have a bike suitable for touring. If need be I could hire a mtb for when I need it on route.

I have a couple of the older models the they’re excellent. You have Netflix, nowtv, YouTube and iTunes. If you have iTunes already you can stream all your music from the cloud. Connect the atv to your amp and you’ve got all your music available at the touch of an app. SD Film rentals are 3.49 on iTunes and your not committed to a subscription. If we go,on hols to a cottage with wifi I take the atv with us so we have all our music and films and we can AirPlay iplayer as well.

Been to Slovenia twice, it’s a beautiful country. First time flew to Trieste and drove in, no issues with driving the car into slovenia from Italy. Second time just flew to Ljubljana and picked up a car from there. Why are you driving are you taking bikes? There’s plenty of places to hire bikes….

Thanks everyone for the advice. I really don’t know why the mortar is crumbling on the inside and as I said the outside seems to be fine although it is difficult to see up close as I would have to get on the roof of an older property which is lower and next to my house but I have had a look with binoculars and it seems fine..

BT is fine, coverage is fine and as good as orange who I was previously signed up to. However I think to get the £5 a month deal you have to be signed up for their broadband as well which is also pretty good.

What I’m thinking of building would consist of two uprights with a crossbeam to hang the swing on. When the swing is not in use the swing could be unclipped or hung to one side to allow access down to the bottom of the garden. Unfortunately I cant fit one in anywhere else… 🙁

Stayed here[/url] near Obertraun last year. Very beautiful area, lots of cycling on easy tracks for the kids, has a swimming area by the lake, ice cave, salt mine, great walking and some lovely restaurants.

If your a member of British cycling they offer free legal support and assistance. They were very helpful when it happened to me. My case was referred onto http://www.leighday.co.uk/ who were very good the whole process of claim and compensation was wrapped up in about 11 months.
Write down everything, all financial losses including, kit, bike and loss of earnings (inc potential overtime) Everything that was said and who by at the time. List injuries and photograph them and record all treatment you receive.

The discount code was included on a slip of paper with my last order.
Could you, in your excitement of getting a new toy, chucked it out with the packaging?

I only have a broadband and line rental package.
As an owner of and apple tv and an iphone I download all TV content now.
All the main TV services provide apps for viewing their content Apart from C4 who dont allow airplay (?!)
Personally, I have no problem paying a TV licence as the TV, Radio and online service from the BBC is well worth £12 a month.

Are they running parallel to mains power cables?

    No, I’ve kept them separate.

I ran a ground cable between the TT and the amp and it didn’t make any difference. However I noticed there is no earth wire from the amp to the plug. as an experiment I ran a wire from the amp to the earth in the plug and it reduced the hum but still leaves a buzz.

You’re connected to a phono stage rather than some form of Aux / line in, yes?

    Yes

Does it do it with shorter leads?

    No

Earth the player to the amp.

I’ll have a hunt round for some wire.

is there a little screw in doodad on the back of the turntable which will take a spade connector?

No there isn’t an earth connection on the turntable and there isn’t one even in the plug.

Are they plugged into a proper phono input?

    Yes.

There is a screw above the phono input on the amp which I think is something to do with earthing??

I use Syncback http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/ Just set it up to to sync folders onto the external hard drive. I just sync documents, photos, videos and music. Do you need to sync the whole hard drive?
