Company I work for puts cameras in lorry cabs, just need to have them by default in cars – sell it as an insurance reducer!

The Prime Orra are hooked rims, it was an error on the Wiggle website description which Fat Mans Tat Bazaar have copied word for word.

I’ve a couple of sets, decent wheels for the sale price.

Got the ear trumpets a couple of weeks back and what a difference!

    @longdog
    – I can connect them to my Samsung TV and still have the output coming from the speakers, volume is independant of the TV level. It seems that you can’t have a bluetooth device and the soundbar connected at the same time though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not bathed in them yet (birthday isn’t until Jan) and the lad has only taken a mild interest in them.

Very pleased with the doors and hardware I got from Leader Doors

Only complaint was that they weigh a fuggin ton (well 35kg) to shift uptairs (get the size right first time!)

Not Addisons but I had both adrenals removed it 1989 due to tumours.

It’s a wild ride at times, getting bluelighted to hospital never grows old ;)

Definitely read up on the recommendations on the Addisons Self Help Group re exercise – I used to bail out on long ride and needed to recover and limp to the finish. Using the guidelines as a starting point has made a world of difference.

I now carry an emergency kit at ALL times and those I’m riding with know what to do

Immuno suppressed with a risk of adrenaline crisis works well for me. Coupled with spinal and cerebral tumours it keeps HR off my case 😉

Have a grayl geopress, 6 weeks in cholera infested southern Africa at the backend of last year and me with my stuffed immune system stayed healthy partaking of the local borehole water.

I did get norovirus which manifested 20 minutes before boarding the plane from Gatwick which made for an interesting flight 🤪

****, £190 return for 30 miles each way? I’ll drive down and pick you up for that!

That’s rip off prices, we had a cab from the East Midlands to T3 last autumn for £400 return (cheaper than 3 weeks parking + costs)

Tape them and then stick a tube in the tyre, pump up and leave for a day or 2.

Take the tube out and refit the tyre.

Don’t forget to overlap the tape by about a half of the wheel diameter (if the valve hole is at 12 o’clock start taping at 9 and finish at 3 after a full rotation).

As you say the sealant is there to fix holes, might be punctures but can just as well be shitty tyre walls.

Dunno, what drugs is it on and does it have the same habit in other rooms?

Why cross on the downtube? Surely better to cross before they enter the cablestops under the bars?

Erm, shouldn’t it be a stright run if the front brake/shifter is on the left?

Beard oil applied after each morning or I end up with a chin covered with wire wool by the afternoon, has essential oils for scent but doesn’t smell like a tarts boudoir as my dad would have  said. It’s some concoction of my own as in a tight git.

I’ve been offered aftershave by the’following the script’ Saturday staff too, I might have been blunter than you in my response 😊

Thanks for the input, it’s being able to follow conversations and not lose track when there’s background noise/other conversations going on that’ll be the revelation.

Left it far too long as I’m a tight git and didn’t want to spend my own money on private aids – I’ve an expensive bike habit to maintain after all 😂

I’ll try not to lose then in the woods or down the bog.

Thanks guys, probably 4-5 months before the next appointment so the wife will have to have to put up with me ‘ignoring’ her for a while longer.

Main concern is the 1 (today) year old deciding to to investigate what’s in Dad’s ears 😜

Clicked on the thread thinking it was going to be photo albums from our teenage years – found a few tidying up my parents house that are perhaps best forgotten ;)

As jeffl says, biological washing powder. Leave the worst to soak in a bucket with a good strong solution of water & powder.

Zoflora is good disinfectant to cover smells too.

My sympathies are with you, look for the humour where and when you can.

Weak, drained, wobbly wobbly, etc – normally when I’m with 5 miles of home.

On a different note I did get blue lighted to hospital on Friday with a temperature of 41 and going into steroid crisis – that was an interesting ride 😃

@sargey, we took our son on a plane at six months so that his grandmother could meet him before dementia took too great a hold of her, not exactly a holiday.

People making uninformed assumptions is my particular bugbear 😉

+1 for the Rab Kinetic Alpine 2, scrunches down into the smallest sea to summit event dry bag (just over a litre from memory) for strapping to the bike (could go smaller but the compression straps on the bag are fully done at that point!)

Might be lucky and find one for around £100 on sportpursuit – with every penny

Fully agree with escrs, very similar setup and pleased with them over the standard SRAM calipers. Found them to be less faff to bleed and align than the SRAMs too.

Read the thread and either pissed myself or nodded sagely along with everyone else.

57 (has anyone mentioned having to work out the difference between birth year and current year as they can’t remember how old they are?) and new baby arriving in a a couple weeks, either feeling very old, very soon or in my second (or 3rd or 4th) flush of youth.

Second the velcro straps. Started getting a rash and the clasp rubbing on a tendon in the wrist with the standard strap, these solved the issues
