Dead cat bounce in a distorted market – you get rallies in bear markets be it stocks and shares, currencies or housing – they will (in my opinion) continue to decline to around 2003/2004 levels (maybe over shooting as markets generally do) and stay flat until (or if ever) banks allow daft borrowing criteria, which of course under new regulations and ownership they may not.

Demand and supply is not really an issue as such in terms of people needing houses – the supply of money is more the issue.

i’m not a doom and gloom merchant i have a house, i don’t care where the market goes, i’m not looking to move, borrow or re-mortgage as i don’t have one – i just read it how i see it. The housing market is a market like any other – peaks and dips – but never NEVER goes in the same direction for ever.

Samuri – that HAS to be a girls watch!!

This one looks quite flash like a Omega or similar – but it’s cheap, will work fine i.e. tell the time, plus you could were it out like to a wedding or divorce court without looking too pikey

you can get it with a blue face too which looks nicer i reckon.

Some IT guy said he solved it and won some cash or a trip to itali or something i saw in the paper recently – either way i’d send that prick of a driver to do anything dangerous to aid my escape – i mean really driving like that – whilst drinking in a bus with loads of gold (unsecured i might add) round mountain roads – what a tit!

Also has any noted the size of the gold stash – how the hell did they get that in the boot of 3 minis! plus they were coopers they have 2 fuel tanks so even less room – you couldn’t of fit enough gold in them to make a set of Ratners 9 carat earings for Pat frickin Butcher.

One thing you should take into acount is that no one will want to use their cutting tools on the bb shell if it’s chromed as it could well blunted them.

Other people’s criteria may differ though.(road)Sprinter friends of mine could snap Sqr taper axles, and I seen a few break on heavy landings.

Tom Boonen was using sqr taper cranks up until recently – can’t recall him snapping any – maybe your freinds should give quick step a call!

However i’ve seen sqr taper axles break on landings on mtb bikes (only un72 thou)

I think each style BB had it’s own advantages and disadvantages.

I quite discount the stiffnes thing for normal XC riding, as you are mostly spinning – and i dare say most decent track cyclists could put down at least 30% more power than most guys on this wesite and efficiency is paramount sucsess in track, and as flexability would reduce effeciency they would be the first to bin them.

Octalink – i always found them very good – it removed the problems of sqr taper (damaging cranks on landings) with very good durability – but slightly less than sqr taper due to smaller bearings.

    ISIS – Filth.

External – good idea dogged by poor execution – especially by race face and FSA (my external road FSA BB disintegrated compleatly on a ride the other day) Shimano seem to have the best seals although i’ve yet to try hope etc.

My conclusion is that sqr taper offers good cheap long life option for those not doing anything to hucky. Octalink similar but can handle more abuse by the rider. And external good for heavy folk and those that jump off stuff – just don’t be a knob and jet wash your bike!

Anyone heard Mavic pronounced ‘May Vik’ before ?!?!?!?

    Also ‘Cam Parge’

    or: Bee a notchi

I know Deus should probably be pronounced ‘day uss’ but the rep from race face calls it ‘deus’ and you do sound like a nob if you say it like you have a latin dictionary shoved up your ass.

You say it’s lacking ‘Culture’ in OZ – in what respect – the culture of pikeys and dole scroungers – the windging about this that and the other, and 3 or 4 nights a week of glum soap opera’s – i understand the lack of ‘history’ argument as in the lack of medieval archetecture etc, but it has it’s own history, the Aboriginals have been there 40,000 years, it’s just a different history – could someone explain the ‘culture’ in the UK that they so enjoy, as i can’t say i ever did!

“””Rob Lee doesn’t exactly come across as the life of the party, and while he’s clearly a good endurance racer he does seem to be best known for holding a record that he invented.”””

Actually mragreeable i think you’ll find that some of those records were the invention of a certain Mr Carr – So now i don’t even know who the world champion is, could you check there underwear for rainbow stripes and get back to me please.

I want to avoid them – like a cold sometimes it’s just not possible – Bono being a twit asside they still are very very very boring, i think it’s the fact that they are so unjustifiably up their own arses and still getting away with hideous retchings of mediocrity every few years whilst wearing stupid sun glasses that gets me.

No – Just confused by the new forum – i did mean the ‘band’ heard a song today promoting the new album, and to be honest it was compleat sh1te – i wasn’t supprised as they are w@nk – i was just curious why anyone would spend good money on this dross, why the hell are they still here? it just made me angry that’s all, like when i put weedkiller down on my patio to get rid of the pesky unwanted green stuff and the feckers are coming back again.

Beagle – NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO! stupid dumb ass pointless dogs – never met a good one, looked after a freinds recently for a week – pissed all over the house, escaped, scared the kids – compleate d1ckhead of a dog. get one if you are a druggy of some kind and keep forgetting where you put your doob, and train it soley for finding said stash, otherwise get a poodle hybrid or a collie cross, much nicer, vastly more intellegent and less stressful and also they appreciate human company, beagles would hump your vacume cleaner and sh1t in your weetabix.

Might of been over reating if you rushed over to the school, punched the head in the face and called them a pedophile, then put the story on the forum, waited until you got over 200 replies then claimed it was all for a paper you are doing at college – that’s why i’m not going to judge you for your actions.

I think actually the AUS will weaken midterm to the GBP – probably reaching 2.30 – 2.40 range over the next few months. Personal view based on fundamentals. Hard to tell with the very high levels of volitity – if Browns plan to print more money was seen to affect the exchange rate it’d of dropped like a stone into London Fix on Friday – which it didn’t.

Rustydub – Kimmage didn’t actually call Lance the Cancer – More that drugs are the cancer of the sport, and that with Lance the ‘cancer’ has returned. I must say that i don’t agree, as quite obviously the tour still hasn’t been cleaned up, i’m thinking of Vino, nearly all the Saunier Duval riders, and loads more i can’t recall – i’m not certain what kimmage’s beef is, although he maybe he feels robbed, as a talented rider himself (i think people forget that he was actually pretty good) – he only got so far and never achieved huge fame and fortune from his acheivements (on the bike) and maybe found a way to make a career for himself because of the bike – who knows, either way someone blew sand up his mangina. My personal view (for what it’s worth (very little probably)) is that yes, there is something dodgy going on, go’s without saying doesn’t it!!!!

The other day i was in a shopping centre car park in the wifes car, just as i opened the door a gust of wind caught it (wierd as it wasn’t very windy) and it caught the neighbours car door, leaving a dent, i hate it when this happands to me, and i know a panel beater, so went to leave a note, found a pen, but no paper, so popped in to the bank in the centre to pick up a paying in slip to leave a note on, but the car had gone in the 5 minutes it took to get there and back. No note on my car, and luckily no dent either, just as well i didn’t get back and find some idiot giving my car a shoeing for what was only an unfortunate event!!!

I reckon you’ll do the downhill loads quicker in the dark – once you see the indicators flashing and hear the distant pitch of your car alarm coming from car park as some pikey git is searching for car for stuff that is!
