For some reason the link above takes you to a site where they are cheaper than from Clee Cycles themselves, who are their main importer (or so I understand). May go for some of these now, plus Clee Cycles are only 20 mins from my house so I’m supporting the local guy. In a way.

I fitted a Hope one to my Truvativ Stylo GXP but you will need the little adaptor spacer thingies that Hope sell. I’m guessing if you can do this with Hope that you can do the same with Shimano or whatever as long as you have the spacer kit. Lots on e bay.

I have the KCNC Scandium SC Bone on my Anthem. Lovely bars. Weigh nothing & they seem strong enough. You are never going to run them on a freeride bike but for XC they are great.

I’ve got one in Alfine 8 speed flavour. I love it. Its in bits until winter so not being ridden at the moment.
Nice springy ride, not a bike for the heavier rider. Get it on some flowy singletrack and its awesome.

I’ve had a few bikes over the last couple of years but I am now on a 2008 Anthem 1. 80mm travel out back, 100mm up front and this thing flies. For years I wondered how all the boys I saw on Anthems were so quick, well now I kind of know. You still have to be fit but these are fast bikes. Not so bad on the way back down either, if set up with a reasonable stem and wide low bars.

These are not the trails you are looking for…..

What nicko74 said – I have a Charge Spoon & a Thomson post and it was doing my head in with the apparant creaking which I thought was coming from the saddle/seatpost. Turned out it was the newly fitted Hope BB that needed a tweak.

I have an alfine8 on a charge duster. It’s my only bike. You spin out on anything remotely flat or downhill BUT for the silence, no hassle, smooth shifting all round ride I wouldn’t have anything else for the type of riding I do. This is shropshire hills, welsh trail centres etc. Get one, try it. If you don’t like it sell it on, they are popular.

They look lovely. Not seen or heard any comments about them being used in the real world. I have some kcnc scandium bars and they are lovely. They seem to know what they are doing with their stuff. Clee Cycles is only 20 mins from my house so may pop over and take a peek 🙂

LOL yeah it was amusing. I wasn’t far off the Hamster Stylee though as the 8th speed on my Alfine on any road section which is slightly downhill is like pedalling with no chain on 🙂
As you rode by I did point out your bike (after recognising it from off of here) to my mate who LOL’d at the ‘Ego Chariot’ decals. Guess they did their job then 🙂
