    Plush Hill Cycles, Church Stretton.
    Small but friendly & knowledgeable.
Their main strength lies in their ability to endure untold levels of faff
Beware the stealth sales technique of Allen though…. :-)

The Cooker isn’t out (I don’t think) until at least mid next year (I could be wrong). I just got a Swift. Love it.

Twohats – do it at speed in the middle of the night in an enduro.
I commented as it is not for me. It may suit others. Such is life. For me they are a faff.

The shifting & performance in the crap is unquestionable. The faff and time spent changing a flat was the reason I sold mine. Awkward.

I know I’ve changed. 29″ wheels just look normal to me now, whilst 26″ look like my son’s bikes !

Are the 2 swifts (not ds3000’s) further up in XL flavour ? They look biig. I have a Large Swift on order. Can’t wait.
Not looking forward to its wheels exploding though.

Rumour has it that the Dyfi Enduro is moving to the Quantocks next year as the organisers now think it isn’t rocky enough
Each entrant must wear regulation safety spectacles (like those ones off of biology lessons at school) to protect themselves from flying 29er exploded wheel shrapnel.
    Ruscle will obviously win.

Just finished an interview with Midlands today about the exploding wheels phenomenon here in Shropshire. I think they are going to issue some sort of PSA about it. I’m campaigning for a “No 29ers” sign for the Long Mynd. It’s just too dangerous.

I got my new 29er home from the LBS today, just a few hours ago. Upon removal from roofrack and setting down upon my block paved drive both wheels exploded before my very eyes. They are rubbish. I am taking it back and getting a 26″ wheeled proper mountain bike and driving to the Quantocks first thing in the morning.
The Welsh lads I ride with are always complaining about their 29r wheels exploding in the rocky gnarl of the Dyfi forest so god knows what carnage is afoot amongst the rocks, roots and very sharp grass of the Quantocks.

She did look really bored yes. I said hello to her every time I rounded the corner. She was doing a crossword so I shouted “4 down, 5 letters, BORED” which raised a smile. Did they really need someone on that part ? !

@ thelazysunbather – I live in Highley, 8 miles other side of Bridgnorth. Proper backwater banjoville. There are some ok trails alongside the Severn & up into the country park on the otherside of the river. Nothing special though.
