Hi, I’d agree with what steve mtb said. I broke my left wrist last may (operation + 3 pins) & it’s definitely changed how I ride. I spent the first few weeks after I could ride again just doing some gentle rides on my cx bike (fitness soon goes when you don’t do anything for months). When I got back to riding my main bike (140mm FS) I certainly thought a lot more about what I was doing on the bike & how I was riding, just in case.
I’d stay as you are, get some fitness back, build up your riding gradually over summer & evaluate it maybe in Autumn.
Good luck with the recovery. I know how much breaking one hurt, never mind two !

Clink what grips you using there ? ESI or the uber cheap foam ones off e bay ?

Grum, no way. I rode my 29er at Dyfi Forest once at 24.8 psi & went over the bars into a lot of rocks.

You see this is what I am worried about.
Good thing is Hopton is not far from my house so I can always go home & re-fettle the bike again, before heading back out.

Got hold of some “rocking horse poop” Sunline V1 762 Flats. Had some before & really like the shape & sweep.
Frame is due 1st April, allegedly from Hotlines. Ragley seem a shambles atm though, the website is a joke with none of the 2013 models on there last time I looked.
Looking forward to getting it, its going to be 2 x 10, 120mm Reba 20mm RLTi, KS LEV Post, Flows on Pro2 Evo’s etc.
