Are they 302 solo air forks ? – if so the cap for the valve is on the left hand fork leg top.Sorry if this sounds insulting,I dont mean it to be,its just it took me a couple of mins to find mine,as on rebas etc the valve is on the bottom.If they are diving through the travel & they are air forks then they just need pumping up.Again,sorry if you have already tried these things.

sharkbait – thats the one mate.We started from just outside Dol,gentle bimble along the Mawdacch trail ,then crossed the estuary & up into them thar hills.It was fkn brilliant,the rocky ,technical descents kicked the backside of any trailcentre I have been to.Lots of moto x bods up there though,so the trail was a little cut up & with it being frozen,made for interesting riding in places.Went over the bars due to said ruts !!! We were out for about 5 hrs I think,including stops for grub,shelter from the wind & 3 flats !!! Enjoy ! Some other great routes on that site aswell – doing the one round the Berwyns in a couple of weeks.

Auctions have picked up slightly since the new year.That said,there are some right bargains to be had.Our vehicles coming back off fleet are fetching 15-25% less than we had the residual value set at.Fill your boots if you have the readies,like smee says.

I have driven both the hatch 1.9 105 & the estate 1.9 105bhp – both are fine,plenty powerful even when loaded up with kit.Found the engine in the Skoda to be much better than in equivalent VW’s & Audis.Do you a good deal on one if you want to contract hire one for cheapness !!!! :D

@james – you’re right mate….it was a killer actually ! I would like to go back & do it again in the summer,without the headwinds & the frozen moto x ruts that threw me over the bars & off down the side of the mountain..that’s the new bike christened then !!!! :lol:

yep sofatester methinks it is…was a tad cold up there yesterday & the headwinds were something we could have done without,but,the riding,needless to say,kicked the arse of all the trail centres I’ve been to…this was God’s trail centre !! :D

I did have some of the Stroker Rydes just before Xmas & I really liked them,nice adjustable levers & super powerful.Imagine the Trails would be better as they are the next ones up in the range.

@ bonesetter…no,no restrictions at all.The leg gripper is tight enough for them to stay in place but not tight enough to be restrictive,you know what I mean.Agree with mboy,they are super toasty.

I have an 08 Trance 3 that I picked up for a bargain tastic price.3 Rides in,today 30 miles of the Pont Scethin loop round Barmouth,I **** love it.As bigboy xc says,awesome frame & hardly any pedal bob from the maestro suspension.Mine has a fox float shock with no lockout but its fine,climbs well & descends like a demon.That said,went over the bars on mine today but that was me not the bike.Brilliant bike & ripe for future upgrades.Get one,you wont regret it.BTW I am 6ft 2 & 13 stone so v similar to you,I ride the large & with a shorter stem,is perfect.
