I had a Cyst removed 6 years ago,”Epydydimal Cyst” was the diagnosis,due to deposits building up in the tubes around your balls basically.Doc said that I could have just left it there but it unnerved me.But as all the other lads said,go get it checked out.No docs on here so far & I am a bloody sales rep ! :D

6ft 2 here & have a large 2008 Trance.The stock stem was way too long for my tastes though so have fitted a 60mm with some different bars (stock ones too low rise) & now its just about perfect.I dont think you would need an XL tbh.

chapaking – yes,remember mate.I bloody love mine already !!!! – I took the long stem off,put on some wider hussefelt bars & lock ons,also swapped the saddle for my trusty bel air.Love it.What forks are you running now ? did you not have revs before ? If you still have them,are they for sale ? I fancy some more adjustable travel upfront but cant find many used forks with a long enough steerer !!!! are you still on the float shock ? must say dont miss not having a lockout on it,it pedals so,so well :-)
what other upgrades you made ? looks like different brakes/rotors ?

I think the low bottom bracket is a giant trait.I have clouted the pedals a couple of times,but used to do the same on the xtc 1 hardtail.
I dont see me ever needing any more travel for the type of riding I do tbh.I will upgrade the forks & wheels in time,the rest of the stiff when it breaks/wears out.

I have had mine about 3 weeks ,ridden it at Llandegla & then beasted it 30 miles in North Wales at the weekend.I love it.I have the trance 3 so the fox float has no lockout options but having ridden other bikes with rp2/3 shocks you dont miss it here.Its the way it pedals,virtually no pedal bob & it grips like a demon.I did change the stem as it was something daft like 110mm & just didnt suit me,also put on some wider bars & its made a big difference downhill.In terms of value,its immense – it only cost me £500 brand new from e bay !!!! Something about the giant alu frames just kicks ass.

outland “enduro” from e bay – I think made by Raleigh.Not very “cool” in certain circles but work very well & seem a little thicker.

artists adhesive spray works well.

what albanach said – been there with my sons football boots with the catpiss smell,its vile.Left bicarb in them for a few days,kept topping it up,just enough to cover the insole.Sorted. :D

buy my 96 marin eldridge off me,,needs a little TLC but would be great for a hack/commute.You can have it for £60 :D
