Get one – its an absolute weapon on singletrack.Run mine now with recon u turns, rides really nicely with 130mm & when they are wound down to 85mm it will climb the side of a house !!! Chapaking of this parish has the same frame as me (trance 3) with revs on his & he rates it.Cracking bikes. Not sure if they are built for jumping but mine has so far taken everything I have thrown at it in its stride. My mates reckon I am quicker on it too,but don’t know if they are just being polite !
TBH guys,in the previous role I had I was tipped off by someone I knew that was working there that this was what they were looking to hear.I didn’t feel comfy doing it & felt a bit of a twunt, like ricochet_rob says really. You guys have confirmed how I felt already so far….
Wish me luck ! :D
XL Trance ? There might be some 08 deals knocking about as they come up pretty big & most people probably go a size smaller.I am 6ft 2″ & ride a large but still have a lot of seatpost up.
@chapaking – was having that very conversation with a chap I ride with yesterday. He couldnt understand why I found it so funny when he kept calling it “Too Lay” – Even though this is probably the right way it just seemed so pompous.
SFB carrying half of Wilkinsons would be really useful,if then whilst out on the trails you realised that you needed some Ronseal or an extension lead,he could sort you right out.
Done my bit today – after the Llandegla thread last week I cleared up 3 empty bottles & various shiny wrappers in the carpark this afternoon & took them home with me.Lazy ****.
Guided ride in the Clwyds in the morning (cheers Colin, all round top banana bloke :D ),met some sound new people,Llandegla in the afternoon (when in Rome & all that) usual Llandegla phenomenon of loads of cars in the car park but didn’t see another soul on the trails ! (do you all sit in the cafe & purr over your new Santa Cruz without riding the thing ?)
My Trance came with Nevegals f & r.They seem fine for me,plus I am too lazy to change them.Ride the same stuff as everyone else on here & they have done fine. They roll a little slow on concrete but we dont spend much time on that stuff anyway do we.
Sick to the power of rad.
