I ran one for 12 months in my previous job. Loved it and it didn't miss a beat the whole time I had it. The only minor thing I noticed (and a colleague who had it before me) was when driving over speed bumps you get a very noticeable clunk from beneath the car (no it wasn't me scraping the thing on the speedbump). When I asked our Skoda fleet rep he did waffle on for a bit about the rear diff and the non permanent 4 x 4 system.
Still a great car and solid as a rock in terms of build quality etc.
    All IMO of course.

I'd have shown you round my secret Shropshire stuff but seeing as you said bikes with flat bars are ugly I won't now. 😉

Loving the Duster 8 amongst other reasons for its quietness. Zero chainsuck, slap or no rear mech clanking around. Love it.

mintyjim – what bars are you using ?

Decent quality 'no-nonsense' bikes. More than enough for most people most of the time

Exactly the reason I went for the Duster 8. Less faff all round (once you've got the hang of getting the back wheel out and twiddling the EBB 😆 )

Stu – fair play. Loved that WC descent. If you watch the clip again you go past one of my mates mincing on the lime green Genesis . Really like the look of your Mythic, you don't see many of them around at all.
If you flog the Ourys let me know, I fancy trying some 🙂

I have an 18" Trailstar LT set up with 130mm TALAS and Mavic Crossmax wheels as my do everything bike. I love it. Did the Dyfi Enduro on it this year and it's perfect for Cannock, Wyre Forest and local rides I do.
I am 6ft 2 and run it with a 90mm stem and its fine. Nice springy feel to the rear end. Only downside is that it doesn't have any bottle cage bosses.
It's described on the DMR site that you can set it up for BSX, trail or enduro use and I think this is true. Can't comment on how it is at jumping off stuff as I am too much of a wuss for that.

Dunno then. STW said the same thing last month in their bike carrier review.

Got TALAS on mine. They spend their life at 130m and don't get wound down and I do lots of climbing. I have mine built up as a tough XC bike.

I've got one. Totally fine for MTB use. Has carried my Trailstar, Trance and old Rockhopper no problem. Mate has one for his Meta aswell. Fair spread of bikes there. You do have to let the front tyre down though if you are on anything over 2.1". I have 2.35" High Rollers and there's no way it would take the front fully inflated.

No other problems though, nice and solid.

Nah it was becauase it was dry and grippy.

Glad you had a good day. Bikes iz ace ennit.
