I could build a PC that would be faster than the PS4/Xbox for around £450 with some carefully sourced components, so a little more expensive but at least it would run games on high settings easily at 1080p/60fps which is something neither console can achieve with the same texture details.

Hell, i could even fit a blueray drive in their at that budget, and the point about 3d Drac is a non issue as both PC’s and PS4 can do 3D with the correct tv/monitor.

For this generation, the only time i’ll be buying one is when they are sub £200 and when there are some killer exclusives. This is the first time in 20years i’ve not picked up a console at launch.

Plenty of riding around can more, lots of bike shops for maps too. There’s even a DH course and xc course at the Calgary Olympic Park.

I wouldn’t hold too much hope in graphics /frame rate improving greatly in future games. These consoles are basic x86 architecture which developers have been familiar with for the last 10 years. Games should improve slightly on the XBONE if/when the devs can get the crippled amount of Esram to work, a slight boost will be attained on XBONE in around 2years If dx 12 is a closer to the metal api then the current api.

No to backwards compatibility, different architecture.

Are they wort it? That’s for you (or you wife) to decide. From a hardware point of view it’s superior to the Xbox one. From a generational point of view, both console are lack luster and there is little software worth buying.

I met a few for a ride once over cut gate, 2004/5 I think it was. Met Dylan (exactly how he was online) I didn’t know much about him at that stage. Also met Shindiggy and quite a few others, forum names of which now forgotten. Dated one of the girls from that ride for a little while after too.

No point keeping her on the balance bike if she is competant. Ours was on the Balance bike (Ridgeback zoom)by three years old and moved onto a Specialized bike that she rode straight away.

However she did have a few falls which knocked her confidence, so we allowed her to mix the usage between the balance bike and normal bike depending on what she wanted to use. After a month or two she was 100% on the pedal bike.

Went on my First proper bike ride with the Daughter (aged 5) with the youngest (aged 2) in the trailer. She managed to ride 4 miles in all, then a picnic in the park.
